Two months has past, yet the pair could not prove their innocence. In fact, their reputation had worsened as other big corporation buildings were attacked and burned to the ground by criminals hiding behind the faces of the duo, yet at each site they go home empty handed. The public has grown attached to their new idol who had risen from Anarchy and Piper's ashes, the Obsidian Sol.

It was late afternoon as the pair sat on the Wave Building's roof staring down at the city they used to hold so close and protect. Sol landed on the roof and sat down on the ledge next to them.

Anarchy pounded her fist on the ledge, cracking it a bit, "This isn't fair... We can't catch those impersonators. They work so clean it's crazy. Not a speck of evidence.."

Sol rubbed his neck, "I'm starting to think you guys are trying to trick me.. It's been like two months, there has to be some evidence?"

Piper rubbed his face, "Trust me, I spent the last 6 hours checking out their last scene... There's nothing."

Sol frowned, "that still doesn't help me feel like you aren't tricking me..."

Anarchy stands up and points down at Sol, "If you don't trust us why don't you leave?! You clearly aren't helping us prove that we're innocent so how about you just get out of here. We don't need your help anyway!"

Sol stood up slowly and glared at her, "fine, have fun being criminals then..." He turned and hopped off the building. His black streak shot across the sky.

Piper folded his arms and frowned as he watched Sol leave, "great job... you shooed off the only person in this town who believed us even the tiniest bit."

Anarchy shook with anger, "You heard him! He doesn't really trust us! He is probably using us or something! he already prances around the town like he owns it!"

Piper nodded slowly, "true... but that still doesn't mean he's a bad guy...? He is keeping everyone safe like he promised?"

Anarchy sighed and nodded slowly, "do you think we should hang up the costumes...? He does seem to be doing fine on his own and I could really use a vacation from all the superhero stuff."

Piper smiles, " See! That's the spirit!" he gets up and hugs Anarchy, " I'm going to miss this."

Anarchy smiles, " Yeah, but it's okay.  The city is safe and that's all that truly matters."

Piper nodded, " I'll see you around partner." Piper jumped down off the roof and slid down the slanted side of the building.

Anarchy remained on the building watching as the sun set over the city. The whole town seemed at peace for those few moments as it disappeared beyond the horizon. Anarchy hopped down off the building and walked into an alley where she changed back into her casual clothes. When she wasn't saving the world she was known as Audrey Woods, the part time substitute gym teacher. She shared an apartment with her crazy busy best friend Sarah. Sarah usually spent countless hours in her studio working on her art so Audrey not being there at the apartment ever went unnoticed usually.  Audrey walked in their apartment and Sarah was sitting on the couch crying into her popcorn over a sad scene in a movie about a dog. Audrey laughed quietly as she sneaked into her room. She flopped down on her bed and started scrolling through social media to catch up on everything going down with the Anarchy and Piper situation. A few news  channels reported about the recent robbery while others wrote about it all. One caught Audrey's eye, it was about how it seemed very strange the heroes changed so suddenly and that foul play may be involved. Audrey smiled as she laid her phone down and walked back to Sarah. "Hey Sarah...?"

Sarah paused her movie and wiped her eyes, "yeah Audrey?

"What's your stand on Anarchy and Piper?"

Sarah rolled her eyes, "don't tell me you're still obsessed with those guys Aud Money."

Audrey frowns, "It's a big deal! Who else is gonna talk about it if I don't?" Audrey and Sarah laughed.

Sarah handed some popcorn to Audrey as she thought a moment, "I like Anarchy and Piper, but the Obsidian Sol is really hot. I mean really reall-"

Audrey laughed and cut her off, "I get it!"

Sarah laughed, "yeah, still though. That's why most people I know like him. Some guys I knew liked Anarchy, but she didn't do much for me honestly."

Audrey folded her arms, "I think she's pretty."

Sarah laughs, "I'm hitting the hay. You should too." She gets up and stretches.

Audrey nods, "yeah.. alright. Goodnight."
