74. Truth & bitter past!*

Finally d sangeet ceremony ended after lots of dancing, singing &giggling sessions.

Rd was busy on a call outside when rehan came wid arjun to introduce rd to him.

Actually during sangeet ceremony arjun was literally gawking at sanyu as if he owns her.

So rehan decided to make him aware dat he is going in a wrong direction which will give him nothing but only false hopes.

Finally rd was done wid his call & turned around to find rehan & arjun waiting for him.

"Hey jiju aap?
Any problem?
Aapne dinner kiya?"

"Ohh toh yeh hai sanyukta ka pati" arjun looked at rd from top to bottom.

"Saale sahab sab thik h" rehan smiled
"BTW meet my friend arjun mehra" rehan patted his back.

"Hey arjun nice to meet u" rd stretched his hands for a shake to which arjun did d same.

"And arjun meet my saale sahab randhir singh shekhawat " rehan added & arjun's eyes widened.

"U...u...r...ran. ..ran. ..dhirr singh shekhawat? " arjun asked excitedly.

"Ye..yes i m" rd replied whereas rehan looked at his friend wid amusement.

"Sir ...sir m a big fan of urs.
I have read almost every iv 's of urs.
Bass kabhi dekha nii kabhi.
Sir I am juz really very happy to meet u." Arjun kissed rds knuckles.

Rd & rehan gave a weird look to him.

"Ohh!  Sorry I juz went in a flow" arjun wiped rds knuckles wid his handkerchief.

"It's ok .
Pleased to meet u arjun" rd smiled & d three mens got busy in der business talk.

"Bhaisaa"! One of rds cousin came to call him.

"Haa diksha"

"Woh Maasa aapko bula rahi h" She smiled.

"Haa aaya" rd excused himself frm der.
"I ll come " he said to arjun n rehan.

Here in d living room after wrapping d ceremony grishma,  her mother & rehan's mother went to Maasa.

"Baaisa aap se kuch baatein karni h" rehan's mother smiled.

Grishma blushed.
Sanyu gave grishma a wide smile.

"Jii baithiye naa." Renu chipped.

"Jii"

All d ladies sat on d couch as d place was vacant & d guests were gone.

"Jii kya aap randhir ko bulaengi" rehan's mother chipped to which grishma blushed.

"Jii randhir kyu?" Granny questioned.

"Jii aap bulaiye.
Hum bata te h baat" she smiled

"Sanyukta go n call him" renu said.

She nodded.

After sometym rd came & got embarrassed by watching all ladies & only he was alone der.

Grishma avoid looking at him.

Sanyu came & stood besides rd

"Jii Maasa hum humari beti grishma ka rishta aapke pote randhir k saath karna chahte h" rehan's mother brought  grishma in front of dem.

All were shocked hearing her proposal

Sandhir looked at each other wid wide eyes.
Renu gasped in shock.
Granny coughed a little but Maasa well she was angry.

"Bawali ho gyi h ke tu" Maasa stood up from d couch furiously.

"Jii kuch galat kaha maine?" Rehan's mother asked getting up.
Even grishma & her mother was shocked by Maasa's reaction.

"Galat hi kaha h tune.
Mhaara randhir shadi shuda h.
Arey bindni h uski "
"Yeh sanyukta bindni h .
Mhaari laado.
Mhaare rannu ki bindni.
Aur ek shaadi shuda ladke k liye rishta layi h?" Maasa roared.

"Maaf kijiye Maasa.
Hume laga sanyukta shalini ki behen h" rehan's mother joined her hands together.

Grishma was equally shocked & her eyes became blurr.
To avoid further embarrassment she ran away from der.

Sanyu too went behind her.

Whereas rd left d place giving d privacy to d ladies.

"Jii maaf kijiye humse bohot badi galti ho gyi.
Beti ki khushi k saamne kuch dikha nii hume" grishma's mother joined her hands.

"Arey chori rehne de galti insaan se hi Hove h.
Achha hua yeh galat fehmi jaldi durr ho gyi" Maasa smiled & resolved d matter.

Her grishma sat in d lawn on d bench crying silently.
Sanyu came & kept her hand on her shoulder.

Grishma looked at sanyu & joined her hands together to apologise.

Sanyu shook her head in no & hugged her tightly caressing her hairs.

"M sorry sanyukta.
M sorry.
I was not knowing dat he ...he is ur" she sobbed loudly.

"Shh! It's ok .
Hota h aisa.
Don't cry.
It's not ur fault" sanyu smiled.

Grishma looked at her.
"M at fault sanyukta" She smiled sadly
"M always at fault.
M ....m a bad omen for everyone.
Even for myself.
I can only hurt people. "

"Shh!!" Sanyu hugged her.

"Jab main main paida hui bapusa  mujhe chodkar chale gye.
Pita ka pyaar kabhi nii mila mujhe"
She sniffed.

"Jab 10 saal ki thi toh khelte  waqt mere bade bhaisa basement  mei chupe the.
Main main dhundh nii payi unko.
Aur aur woh suffocation ki vajah se...woh..." saying grishma clutched sanyu tight n cried her heart out.

"Last last year mera best best friend dhiraj woh mera best friend tha. I ...I loved him more than my life but he he ditched me saying dat i ...I m unlucky girl.
Jisse main pyaar karti hu sabse jyaada woh woh bhagwan k paas...cha...La jaata h.
Aur...usse mere vajah se koi problem nii chahiye isliye he he insulted in front of whole college. " she completed.

Sanyu was juz listening her silently.

"Randhir ji ko dekha toh...toh laga ki woh genuine h.
Woh mujhe mere luck par judge nii karenge.
He will understand me.
But yaha par bhi mere luck ne mera saath nii diya....nii diya" grishma joined her hands & touched sanyus feet.

"M sorry sanyukta. ..m sorry"

Sanyu immediately caught hold on her n hugged her tightly wiping her own tears.
Dis girl has gone through  much ..

"It's ok dear.
It's ok.
Everything will b fyn" sanyu caressed her hairs like a elder sister.
