(it's about about Christmas and Christmas break is just around corner. Robert's mom has gotten weaker and is about to go to the hospital, to be in better condition. Also Stacie has gotten taller too, half way up to Robert's tummy. their dad is finally coming home after a year away from the family. He is also released from the army because of a horrible accident in a gun war. Some of the family member's come in and help Robert and Stacie out. With doing that they get to see their mother in a bed that they both don't like)

Hey, robert you ready for Christmas?

(he thinks to himself of how much longer his mom has and his dad coming home) yea, I guess

How come you guess? Theirs food, family and friends, you never really see that much.

Family good, food is great. Just wish something didn't happen after Christmas.

What's that? The over load of an stomach ache form the amazing food. Then the exercise comes next too.

Ok, well, my mom has brain cancer and just went to the hospital, to get treated to a room. So see is watched carefully. And my dad is in the army. I don't know what kind of state he will be in when he comes home, knowing that she is at her last days. My dad's family ahs been pitching in a lot for us just cause they know the condition. They are planning to have Christmas dinner in the hospital for my mom too. I have to break the news to my sister so she knows to, she's just 10 years old too. I can't (Robert chokes down the tears of his mother's death and his father's arrive in town, witch is coming fairly soon)

Bud, I'm so sorry I wish I know how it felt. That's a lot of stress including school. I'm so sorry, I hope your mom makes it. I know she can fight this one.

The teachers know about my family's condition my mom told them. So they know I won't feeling the greatest some days. And ours I would fight though.

(After talking to Julian for a while Robert heads to class. The school day feels long to Robert. When it's lunch, he chooses the meatball sub. Then is so excited to head home to see his sister, witch from now on gets him light and happiness in eyes. He rushes out of he last class and heads to his locker. He walks by Kayla and Ryan fighting, and isn't surprise. He smiles and heads to the buses. After waiting for Stacie like 5 minutes, he sees her rushing over too him he twirls her around in a circle, and she gives him the biggest smile ever. She talks about her day. He listens and he isn't thinking about anything expect how Stacie and blab her mouth off. When they enter the house they are greeted by their aunt lulu. They don't hear someone walking down the stairs, the person taps their shoulder. Robert and Stacie turn around)

DADDY!!!!(she says with tears in her eyes)

Dad,(Robert starts to cry in his fathers shoulder. And says that he missed him so much. And that he didn't want to be the man of the house anymore)

I know son, it's hard. You did such an amazing job

(then something horrible happens, dad falls to the floor)

DAD!!!!!!!(Robert screams, Stacie starts to cry harder. Robert has her face his tummy. Aunt lulu gets the car started, uncle bob calls 911. The ambulance arrives and takes their father to the hospital. And lulu is right behind them with uncle bob, Robert an Stacie. After an hour the doctor comes out and tells aunt lulu and uncle bob what happened. They came over to tell Robert cause Stacie fell asleep crying on Robert's lap)
