Loyalty: A Naruto Fanfiction

Chapter 4

The sharingan above is your Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. 

Everyone is fast asleep and you just sit up then pull out the scroll Lord Danzō gave you before you headed on the mission.  You open it and begin reading it carefully.

Time skip...

As the sun rises you are the first up.   You begin your day by popping a few food pills and dressing for the day.  You are putting on your training clothes.  A lot of your scars are showing before you cover over them with the tight long sleeve and tights both being black.  You now are putting on your holsters and and you seal one away this time, before putting your other one against your hip.  You then tie your headband around your forehead and slip on your gloves.  You are completely dressed and prepared for your day, so for when you split off onto Gatō's side.   Everyone else is waking up slowly.   Your eyes are cold and emotionless.  "Ikari you're already awake?"  Kakashi asks.  You nod.  You remain silent as you are putting your things away and sealing them into a scroll.  "When did you get up?" Sakura asks sleepily.  "Just as the sun started to rise, is there any reason why I shouldn't have?"  You ask in your regular tone.  No one answers. You slip your supply scroll away into a back pouch while they are putting their things in their bags.  'Zabuza and his helper eh... I can't wait.' You think.  Tazuna is looking at you with wide eyes.  "I'll be up ahead, you should be able to catch up."  You state calmly.  

Time skip...

The area is covered in a thickening mist, the group isn't that far away from you.   You stop and wait for them.  You feel a strong chakra, and then a faint further one.  The group catches up to you. "Ikari?"  Kakashi says confused as Naruto hits something.   "Naruto! You killed a rabbit!"  Sakura yells.  "Why is it white?" Tazuna asks.   You take off your headband and there is a swirl of air around you as you are in your Anbu gear with mask.  You backflip onto a tree as a sword comes slicing through the air.   "Get down!"  Kakashi yells. You land on the ground near them.  Zabuza is then standing on the sword.   "Hatake Kakashi and a bunch of brats... This will be easy."  Zabuza laughs you then walk over towards Kakashi. "Ryūketsu... Gatō has been wondering where you are." Zabuza says. "Of course he has... I am his watcher..." Your voice is low and dark as you jump up towards him. "Try not to die kids." You say coldly as you turn beside Zabuza. "And don't be too messy Zabuza." You state before teleporting. You land beside Zabuza's helper. They are in a Mist hunter nin outfit like the scroll said it would be. "You must be the watcher..." The voice sounds feminine. "That's correct, you must be Zabuza's partner then." You state emotionlessly. They nod.

Time skip...

You and Haku as he told you his name was. Are watching Kakashi approach Zabuza. You both nod to each other. Haku then has two senbon and throws them at Zabuza's neck puncturing chakra points. Kakashi checks his pulse. You and Haku jump down. Kakashi looks confused. "Thank you Ryūketsu... I am surprised you didn't deal with him yourself."  Haku says.  "His employer didn't want to pay him and I'm not supposed to get involved... So I felt your chakra and came to find you."  You answer.  "I see... I thank all of you for distracting him and fighting him to that stage... I had been trying to hunt him down for months."  Haku says with a nod.  "I'll go with you, since I am heading that direction anyways." You say while smirking behind your mask.  "I don't see the issue."  He says.  "Hey what about us!?!"  Naruto yells.  "I have missions to do, don't worry you'll see me around." You state as Haku picks up Zabuza and throws him over his shoulder.  "You have a lot of explaining to do Ikari!" Sakura yells.  "That's an interesting codename Ryūketsu."  Haku says.  "It's just random... Let's get going."  you state and the both of you disappear.   

Third person P.O.V

The genin are left confused by the incident just now.  "Kakashi-sensei? What just happened?"  Naruto asks.  "You just witnessed a double mission... I was confused once she said she was an anbu in training, why she was coming along, but now we all know why."   Kakashi answers still pondering in thought.  "How come she just gets to go off?"  Naruto asks angrily.  "She has a seperate mission from this one... plus... she isn't getting paid with us."  Kakashi states.  The genin are shocked.  "Yeah she said something to me about that after the first two rouges attacked us."  Tazuna states.  "What else did she say?  Did she say from where?"  Sakura asks.   "No she told me not to worry about it and to know that she's on our side."  Tazuna says.  Kakashi sighs then feels light headed.  "We shouldn't worry about her, she will be fine."  Kakashi says. "Why is she like that?  How is she so strong?"  Sasuke asks.  "She's gone through a lot if she is Lord Danzō's kid... That man expects perfection."  Kakashi says.  "There are some people who are younger than you and me who are so much stronger and powerful than others who are my age, but have just as much experience."  Kakashi adds with deep thought.  He turns to the others before passing out.
