Loyalty: A Naruto Fanfiction

Chapter 9

You are standing outside the forest when you hear "Ryūketsu... You did well, now we have a month together, to train and bond." You turn to see Orochimaru smiling at you. Your eyes are cold as stone as you stare off as the bodies of your old teammates go off into the distance along with everybody else. You stare in silence as you remember your emotions you felt when you were with Sakura. You then listen to Orochimaru as he says "My darling experiment I hope that we will be friendly as I am the only one who has shown you the truth." "Of course." You say calmly turning towards him. "And for you are the only one that accepts me for who I am." You say calmly. He places a hand on your shoulder. "I am happy that you have finally seen the truth... And are not so focused on that girl, she was going to bring you to ruins then you would have never beaten Hatake Kakashi.  She would have blinded you with lies and such friendships. Which are things such as worthless bonds." Orochimaru says.  You nod as your mind starts to go blank.

Time skip... (A week before the exams)

You arrive back in the village calmly. No one recognizes you. No one talks to you. No one looks at you differently. You smirk under your mask. Your hood is up and covering your face mostly. You're wearing grey sweat pants and a black hoodie along with a black muscle shirt with attached mask. You are also wearing bandages around your right shoulder and you are wearing standard navy blue sandals. "Sakura-chan! Do you wanna go and get some ramen with me?" You hear some one up ahead of you yell. 'Naruto Uzumaki the 9 tails jinchūriki' You think calmly. "No but have you seen Ryūketsu or Sasuke-kun anywhere?" You hear Sakura ask. "After what you said I don't think Ryūketsu ever wants to see you again. And Sasuke is training with Kakashi-sensei." You hear Naruto state angrily as you walk past. You are male at the moment so it doesn't matter. "Uh sir do you know what time it is?" Sakura asks as you feel someone tap your shoulder. "It's about 2 in the afternoon." You answer calmly. "It's rude not to look at a person when speaking." She says. "I guess it would be... Huh." You state and start to walk off. You then hear running and then Naruto pulls in front of you. "Stop hiding because your heart got broken." Naruto shouts. "Uh... Do I know you kid?" You say in a confused tone. "Uh... Sorry I guess you're the wrong person then." Naruto says. "Uh sir what ninja rank are you?" Sakura asks. "I don't talk to little kids." You state and start to walk away from them.

Time skip... (The chunin exams finally part)

"Hey Ryūketsu! Good luck in our match!" You hear Dosu laugh. You turn around to see him. "Yeah... Good luck Dosu, best ninja wins and let's make it a death match just for fun eh?" You say smirking behind your mask. "Anytime, I'll see you in hell either way." Dosu says laughing. You both nod to each other. The other contestants are watching in shock. Most of the others are glaring at their partners. You and Dosu were originally taken off the fighting list after you both disappeared for unknown reasons. But then you and him 'reappeared'. Now you are both ready to fight and win against each other. Suddenly you hear "One for one of the matches you have all been waiting for!" Genma sounds less sick then he was during the preliminaries at least. "Ryūketsu vs Dosu!" Genma yells. You and Dosu both nod and say "Give the crowd what they want." You pick him up bridal style and jump out the window. Seconds later your feet hit the ground. You go down into a crouch and he jumps out of your arms. You then dodge him and roll backwards till your out of the way. You both are waving at the crowd. You both then head bump. Genma is laughing too hard and the crowd is roaring. "Are you both ready, you clowns?" Genma says. "Anytime..." "Any place..." You say in turn. "We will always be ready to fight and die for what and who we believe in." You and him then both say simultaneously. The crowd goes wild yet again. You both are smiling like idiots, till it goes silent. "Then you may begin." Genma says before backing up. The smiles you and Dosu both have fade and yours is replaced with your normal emotionless gaze. "Let us start this death match, then." Dosu says smirking. "Let's..." You say making three shadow clones. You watch as the middle one begins to unsheathe their katana. The two at the ends attack him and dodge his attacks, but still get hit by his sound waves and then disappear. The middle shadow clone is making some progress as you put ear plugs in. You snap beside your ears and hear nothing. Dosu was watching you as he was fighting your clone. He punches it square in the face. It disappears in a huge cloud of smoke as you feel a rumble under your feet. 'Now the real fight between us and our futures begins, Dosu...' You think calmly.
