A/N: Thank you @KiwiAnne12 for being my first request!

I was sitting in the huge American Idol arena, waiting for my cousin Dalton Rapattoni to perform. I had come with my Aunt Kiva, cousin Sophie, and an Asian boy by the name of Will. Apparently, he and Dalton were former bandmates, and now they were both solo artists. I had watched some of Will's videos, and he was actually pretty good. The day he found out Will and I were coming to see him sing, Dalton had made me promise to at least try to talk to Will. Being the socially awkward person I was, it took a lot of begging on Dalton's part to wear me down. We hadn't spoken in the car, so I decided to make an effort to speak to him while we were sitting there.

"Hon, Sophie and I are going to the restroom, we'll be right back." Aunt Kiva walked away, leaving me alone with Will.

Alright, I thought. It's now or never. Say something, doofus!

"Um... h-hi," I stuttered, smiling weakly at Will. Good going, weirdo, I thought, mentally kicking myself.

"Hi, I'm Will." He held out his hand for me to shake.

"I-I'm Camille," I said, shaking his hand. As soon as I touched his hand I loosened up a bit. "Dalton's my cousin."

Will laughed. "Yeah, I know. Dalton told me all about you. And if I may say so, you're much prettier than he said."

"Thank you," I giggled. I felt my face heat up, and I knew I was blushing.

Just then, Aunt Kiva and Sophie came back, and Dalton got onstage. The entire crowd- especially Will, Aunt Kiva, Sophie, and me- erupted in applause. He sang an amazing rendition of "Eleanor Rigby" by The Beatles. Everyone loved it, and I felt so proud of my cousin.

After the judges started criticizing Dalton, Will tapped my shoulder. "Do you sing, too? It seems like musical talent runs in the family."

"I do sometimes, but I'm nowhere near as good as you and Dalton."

"I'm sure you have a beautiful voice."

I felt myself blushing again. "Thanks," I said quietly, turning my attention back towards the judges.

*After the show*

The four of us were waiting for Dalton to come out, so Will and I were talking quietly. We had become really great friends in the short time we had known each other. He was charming, sweet, funny, and one heck of a singer.

Finally, my cousin was ready to go home, so we all got ready to leave.

"You were so amazing!" I enthused, hugging Dalton as we walked to our car.

"Thanks, kiddo," Dalton laughed, playing with my hair.

"Dude, watch the 'do," I whined, fixing my once-perfect curls, which I did specially for tonight.

"I'm sorry," Dalton said in a childish voice, hugging me again. "Did you talk to him?" he whispered eagerly.

"Possibly," I whispered back, a small smile forming on my lips.

"Good." Dalton moved onto Will, hugging him the same way he hugged me. I heard faint whispered I saw Will's lips move, his eyes landing on me as his face went pink.

"Well, shall we go to dinner?" Dalton asked, linking and with his little sister as we all got into Aunt Kiva's car. Dalton made a point of sitting in the front and Sophie sat in the middle, so Will and I both got into the back.

   "Hey, Camille?" Will whispered nervously.

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked, playing with my hair flirtatiously.

"Could I possibly... have your number?"

I smiled. Will Jay was asking for my phone number. A celebrity was asking for my phone number! "Of course!" I said a bit too eagerly, making Will laugh. He handed me his phone and I handed him mine, so we both put our phone numbers in. Best. Day. Ever.
