Mingyu made his way through Wonwoos home until he reached the bathroom, stopping outside. The door was open a jar, but he didn't want to be rude, so Mingyu gently knocked the door.

The water suddenly stopped and soft footsteps made there way to the door. Slowly the door opened to reveal a very drained Wonwoo. His hair was a complete mess, black tuffs sticking out in opposite directions. His face was pale and drained, dark rings under his eyes from lack of sleep.

"What?" Wonwoos voice was dry and sounded strained, his tone confused. "Why are you here? How did you get in?" He asked, eyes narrowing suspiciously.

"I climbed through the window" Mingyu admitted sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "I was worried about you" he explained in hopes of defending himself.

Wonwoo scoffed at Mingyus excuse, not believing that anyone would care about him. The simple action made Mingyus chest ache, heart braking a little. "Don't lie to me" Wonwoo spat, words layered with venom.

"Im not!" Mingyu exclaimed quickly, face twisting into a pained and desperate look. "I really was worried! No ones heard from you in God knows how long! I thought something had happened to you!"

"Why would you even care?!" Wonwoo grunted through gritted teeth, fighting back the sudden urge to break down into tears and let Mingyu comfort him.

Mingyu looked away, brows furrowing slightly as his lips pressed into a thin line. "Because," he mumbled quietly "I realised that I love you, I love you a lot. An what I did and said to you while we dated, well, that was just out of order and if I could rewind time I would. I don't want to live without you by my side. I miss your shy smiles, you stupid dad jokes, the way you awkwardly shift around when around people. I miss all of your little quirks"

Wonwoo looked down, eyes flooding with tears at Mingyus words. All he ever wanted was the boy to love him and now he finally does. "R-really?" He stuttered quietly, tears slowly rolling down his cheeks as he looked back up.

Mingyu instantly cupped Wonwoos cheeks in the palms of his hands, gently swiping his thumbs under Wonwoos eyes to dry his tears. "Really" Mingyu smiled softly, placing his soft lips against Wonwoos chapped ones to give him a sweet kiss.

Once they had parted from the kiss, Wonwoo intwined his fingers with Mingyus and began to lead him to his room. His room was a complete mess, clothes thrown here there and everywhere, but that didn't matter to neither of them, both just happy to be together.

"Mingyu" Wonwoo exhaled deeply, his voice shaky as he sat on the bed, quickly closing his diary which was on his pillow. "I want you to do something with me" his voice was shaky, nervous as he spoke causing Mingyu to worry.

Mingyu sat next to him, placing his large hand on top of Wonwoos. "Anything" he smiled softly. But that didn't seem to settle Wonwoo.

"Die with me?" Wonwoo blurted out, quickly behind to explain himself "I planned on killing myself tonight anyway and I still am. You can't stop me, but you can join me."

Mingyus jaw dropped slightly, eyes widening. He was shocked at Wonwoos request, heart shattering even more at the thought of Wonwoo being gone forever. But oddly enough something inside him was pushing him to do it. "Why?" He managed to push out after a long pause.

"I have nothing left in this world, everyone I love has left me. Even you did. So why would I stay on earth if my life is meaningless?" Wonwoo spoke calmly, little emotions showing.

"How would you kill yourself?" Mingyu asked, trying to hold back the tears that Wonwoos words brought to his eyes.

"Overdose on sleeping pills. I'll simply fall asleep and never wake up" Wonwoo said with a shrug, reaching over to his bedside table and picking up a small bottle.

Mingyu was silent as he looked at the bottle of pills. There was enough in there to easily kill the two of them. But what he didn't understand was why he wasn't freaking out and begging Wonwoo not to, why he actually wanted to do this with Wonwoo. Lovers suicide, being together until the end. "Okay" Mingyu said quietly, looking to Wonwoo with a smile. "If it means we'll be together forever, then I'll do it"

A smile broke out on Wonwoos emotionless face, leaning forward to gently peck the boys lips. "I love you, so much" he murmured softly, popping the cap on the bottle off and spilling the pills out into his hand.

"I love you too" Mingyu hummed, oddly calm and relaxed.

They split the pills, swallowing one by one together until nothing remained. The atmosphere in the room seemed to be strangely peaceful, both boys completely at peace.

"Let's lie here until we both drift away" Wonwoo hummed, climbing under the covers and looking towards Mingyu expectingly.

Mingyu shuffled closer, slipping under the covers and wrapping his long an slender arms around wonwoo, pulling him closer. Wonwoo buried his face into the crook of Mingyus neck, inhaling the younger sweet smell.

Neither of them spoke a word, holding each other in the silence as they waited for the darkness to completely consume them. The pills took a while to take affect, making both boys drowsy.

"Im tired" Wonwoo mumbled into Wonwoos neck, cuddling up closer to the boy and nuzzling his head in closer.

Mingyu let out a soft yawn, humming in agreement. "Sleep" was the only word he said, grip tightening around wonwoo.

"I love you" Wonwoo mumbled, his words barely audible. But Mingyu heard.

"I love you too" Mingyu whispered back, a smile on his face.

Wonwoo smiled a genuinely happy smile for the first time since his parents had died. And that was the last thing he remembered before he slipped into a deep sleep, one he would never wake up from.
