Lucy's POV

After I started the fire and had Harry lie down on a makeshift bed made of leaves, I sit down for the first time tonight. I look around and notice the sun was barely coming up.

F uck , It's already morning?

I decide that I wasn't going to get any sleep with sun coming out already, so I decide to look for something for us to eat. I finally find some berries that look a lot like blackberries and pick as many as my two arms can hold. I make a makeshift bag with the bottom of my hoodie. When I get back I notice that Harry had moved from his spot and was nowhere to be seen. I can't help but panic after what happened yesterday.

"Harry, where'd you go?"

As soon as I finished my sentence, I feel two hands covering my eyes, causing me to scream.

"Guess who?" he says in a high-pitched voice, knowing exactly who it was.

"Thank god you're okay." I say as I move his hands to uncover my eyes.

"I was gone for 5 minutes, love." He chuckles.

"Well after what happened yesterday, I couldn't help but be a little worried." I mutter quietly.

"I wanted to help you find some food. I found an old apple tree, so I picked a few." He says with a shrug. I nod as we go back to our fire.

"I didn't notice how cold it was." Harry mutters rubbing his hands on his bare arms and chest.

"I think your shirt might've dried by now." I say getting up to check it. I pick up Harry's shirt, noticing it still hadn't dried completely.

"Still hasn't dried." I yell at Harry, making him groan out of frustration. His hands were shaking from the cold. I go back and sit down next to Harry. He sighs, and I can see his breath because of the cold. I wrap my arms around his body in an effort to warm him up. He scoots closer to me and I feel horrible because I wasn't really helping him keep warm. I take off my drastically ill-fitting Packers hoodie, leaving me in my black t-shirt. I manage to fit the hoodie over his head. He laughs because it fit him almost perfectly.

"Thanks." He chuckles and he wraps his arms around me, this time, trying to keep me warm.

"Thank you," I say, " But, shouldn't we at some food first?" He nods and asks me to refill his water bottle as well, which I readily agree to do for him. I grab the apples, the berries, and Harry's water bottle and take them to the stream. I wash the fruit and fill Harry's water bottle, tossing it to him. He quietly thanks me as I start to walk back up to our area. I give Harry an apple and begin to eat mine, giving Harry some of the berries and eating all of mine. He was sick and frail, and I wish I could do something about it.

"Harry you're not healthy right now." I say to his paled skin and red-rimmed eyes.

"Lucy, I'm fine." He says with a sniffle.

"We need to make our way out of the woods at some point, right? We'll have to go our separate ways, won't we?" I say to him, leaning against his shoulder and he wraps on of his arms on my waist.

"I don't know what I'm going to do when I get back to civilization," He chuckles, "I can't go back to my parents, but I won't have anywhere to go, either. I know we have to go our separate ways, but we'll find our way back to each other, I promise." he finally finishes, a little upset for reasons unknown to me.

"Why don't we start walking again?" I offer. When he nods his head, we both stand up and I reach for his hand. We intertwine our fingers and begin to walk again. We we're still in a dark and gloomy mood so I suggested we sing a song. He smiles and says,

"What music do you listen to, love?"

"I'm into Melanie Martinez, Halsey, Troye Sivan, and such."

"Really? You don't look the type."

"I'm slightly offended, but I'll brush it off this time."

"Alright then, pick a song."

I start off my favorite Troye Sivan song, "WILD", and Harry soon joins in.

"Leave this blue neighbourhood, I never knew loving could hurt this good, and it drives me wild." We finish the chorus together as I praise Harry on his singing, and vice versa.

"What are you going to study at UCLA?" I ask Harry, remembering he briefly told me about the university while we we're getting to know each other.

"Music. I love to sing and write music, so I think I definitely should do that as my major. What are you going to study at Stanford?" I recall what I'm planning to study and tell Harry.

"English and Literature. It would be a dream come true to be able to be a successful writer someday." Harry nods trying to understand my passion for writing.

"I'm tired." Harry whined. I grab his hand and have him sit down as I sit down next to him. I lie down on Harry legs and look up at Harry, who was looking up at the stars. He was so beautiful. He had gorgeous green eyes that were being illuminated by the bright full moon. His long, dark curls fell down to his shoulders and perfectly framed his face. His lips were an elusive shade of rose. They were a different sort of unique, pouty and intriguing. His cheeks were colored a light pink. Everything about him made me want him more and more and I wish I could stop myself, but I couldn't.

I was falling for him, I was falling hard.
