Chapter Five

Lucy's POV

I'm still on the ground, staring down at the stranger below me.

Why haven't I gotten up?

When some sense finally kicked in, I quickly get up and take a few steps back. When I realize the guy is still lying on the ground from shock, I offer him my hand. He reluctantly takes it and gets up. He furrows his eyebrows and looks into my eyes.

His gaze is so intense, that I immediately look away.

Get up, dumbass.

I shake my head, and look back at him.

"I'm really sorry for falling on you."

"S'okay." he replies.

"Well, I should get going." I say, turning to leave.

"Wait, where are you going?" he asks.

"No specific area really."

"Really? Me neither."

"Alright, then let's go to no specific area together." I smile.

"Together?"

"It's better then going alone."

"Okay, let's go." he reluctantly agrees.

"Oh, and I'm Lucy."

"And I'm Harry."

Maybe this will go well. I really hope so.

Harry's POV

The girl, I think her name's Lucy, and I keep walking and eventually make it to a freshwater stream. She told me why she was in the woods at this time of day and I told her my story.

"I'm so sorry, Harry. If my parents said that, I would've kicked their asses." We both chuckle when she says that. We walk over to the stream to get a drink of water.
