Betrayed by the Alpha

Chapter 4

Tassia's Pov


Once we reached the wooden hut, which i supposed was ours, River opened the door. He let me enter first and i heard a noise that sounded like a cat was dying. i looked around and soon noticed it was two boys screaming at the TV. One was slightly bigger than the other with dark brown hair and blue eyes, he was yelling at a skinny guy with brown hair and brown eyes. i realised that they had be screaming over Fifa on a huge flat screen TV placed in the middle of a large living room. River cleared his throat and the guys turn there attention to me.


"Uh, guys this is Tassia, she is newest member of our pack and cabin." Said River, indroducing me.


"Hey!" The skinny guy yelled. He stood up and embraced me with a hug.


"Good to have a girl here, I'm getting sick of the man talk, I'm Jason, but you can call me Jace." He winked and then smiled, just as the other guy got off the couch.


"Sup, I'm Donny, third in command." He smirked, while breathing in to make himself taller than he all ready was, pretending to straighten his non-existing tie. i snorted and started to laugh. I know, i know, how very lady like.


"Hi." i said still trying to contain my laughter.


"Well... i have to do some stuff i'll be back for dinner cya." and with that River walked out of the cabin.


"What's wrong with him?" I asked Jace and Donny as we walked to the leather couch.


"He is an Beta and its the Beta's responsibility to be antisocial" said Jace trying to mock a manly man. I laughed along with Donny until Jace said,


"Come on. I'll show you your room."He stood up and i followed leaving Donny watching TV. The cabin was huge, even though it looked small from the outside, it was like Harry Potter. Leading off from the living room was an enormous kitchen, from there, there was a corridor with 4 rooms.


"This ones River's," he said pointing at the first room on the left."and from there it goes Donny's then mine then yours," he said while making hand jesters. "Don't worry your next to the hot guy" he winked and put his arm around me, while leading me to my room. I felt comfortable with Jace, he was like my brother even though i only meet him a few minutes ago. As i entered my room i gasped, i was beautiful and huge, it had blue walls and a double bed covered in different coloured pillows.On the right side of my bed was a picture of all three boys laughing, they looked a good two years younger. I smiled, it was perfect.


"I see you like it," He said and even before i turned around to face him i knew he was smirking. "I'll leave you to unpack, I'm gonna make dinner. After all i am the best cook here."


"Thanks." i said still smiling as he turned around and walked back down the corridor.


Melody's Pov


He was beautiful. His brown hair that stuck up a bit at the front, but it totally suited him, and his brown eyes were so beautiful. I was so mesmerized by him, that i didn't even realise that River and Tass had left until i heard the door click shut.


"Come on, i'll introduce you to my little sis."He said, with the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. He grabbed onto my hand and i felt tingles shoot up my arm. I held his hand through the corridors of the pack house. As we got out of the house i looked back to see a huge mansion of a house behind me, i heard Joe chuckle from behind me and that's when i realised my mouth was hanging open. I quickly shut my mouth and held on to his hand again. Surrounding the mansion was a series of small huts. Joe lead me to the one next to the pack house which was slightly larger than the others, i supposed it was because he was Alpha. As we reached the tent he stopped and let go of my hand, i had to stop myself from sighing, i felt cold without him now. He held open the door, and said,


"Lady's first ,ma'am"he said in a posh British accent while trying to bow, it made me laugh as i walked inside. I felt him follow me in and i was soon standing in front of a beautiful skinny girl, who must be Joe's sister.


"Hi, I'm Elle, Joe's sister" she greeted with a warm smile, i smiled back.


"I'm Melody," i said shyly.


"Come on i'll show you to your room," Joe whispered in my ear, it made me shiver, but i followed him anyway. He led me down a corridor that lead off the living room. He entered the first room on the left and dumped my bags on the floor, which i forgot he was holding. Dammit, this guy was making my nervous. He turned back around smiling, i just stood there like an idiot, trying to look anywhere but him. He approached me quickly and lifted my chin up with his finders so my eyes meet his brown ones.


"I'm taking you out tomorrow, it shall be a surprise. I'll leave you to get unpacked, were having dinner in a bit, so ill see ya then." He said quietly, and left walking back down the corridor. I stood there for a bit, until i realised that i had said nothing back to him.


"Ok!" i yelled back up the corridor peaking my head out. I heard him chuckle and i suddenly realised that i was just a little bit late... i stared to unpack and then just lay on the end of my double bed for a bit thinking. I did'nt know how long i was lying there staring at the ceiling, but i heard Joe call me.


"Mel, dinners ready," i heard him yell down the corridor. Oh my god he just called me Mel! Only Tass, my mum and Beckham called my that, but as soon as that thought slipped into my head i regretted it. I missed them so much i just which Beckham and my mum could move here. I started walking down the hall when a delicious smell wafted up my nose, it smelt like soap and lavender, as well as pasta sauce. That was Joe, and dinner. Yum! I came into the living room to see Joe and Elle sitting around a circle table, i took a seat.


"Did you make this?," i questioned Elle. She nodded shyly and i smiled.


"Well it looks really good, you should become a chief."


"Thanks" she beamed. I dug into my food with out looking at Joe, even though i felt his eyes burning into me.

Sorry for the short chapter and not updating yesterday. I had soccer training and was writing a chapter of our other book. It's called 'Misjudged', so go read. Thanks for reading, that was bit of a slow chapter.
