This chapter is dedicated to Salvador. Our dearest friend :)) This chapter is written in River's POV to shake it up a bit :3
River POV:
After the mega Christmas breakfast yesterday, I didn't eat anything else for the rest of the day, well apart from that little scoop of ice cream before I went to bed, but that doesn't count. Everyone spent the whole day yesterday lazing around our cabin recovering from their food comas. I fell asleep on the couch while everyone mingled, opened their presents and played games. When I woke up the next morning I was lying on something hard, I looked up and saw Tass replacing my spot on the couch and I was on the floor. Cheeky bastard. I got up a bit to quickly and I felt a little dizzy. I looked around, my eyes were still half closed and my vision was slightly blurry but I could still manage to see the torn up streamers, used cups and leftovers from yesterday. Wow, who have thought that seven people could make this much mess? I'm pretty sure they had invited the rest of the pack over after I fell asleep. I couldn't see Donny or Zander anywhere. I started to panic, but soon remembered that Mel had taken Zander when she left with Joe before I fell asleep. I walked past Tass's bedroom and noticed Jace passed out on her bed. This is just getting weirder. I decide to get a rubbish bag from the kitchen and start picking up the cups and serviettes. After I had filled up a few bags of rubbish, I saw the clock in the kitchen strike 8, training was in an hour and I needed to get ready and wake up Tass. I shook her awake and she sat up rubbing her eyes,
"What time is it?"she mumbled
"Eight."
"Why the hell did you wake me up so early!?"
"Training is in a hour, remember?" I reminded her raising my eyebrows.
"Shit," she swore, as she scrambled off the couch and into her room. She mustn't have noticed that Jace was still in the room, because moments later I heard her scream.
"Get out of here, you perv!!" she screamed.
I heard Jace slowly drag himself out of the room, laughing lightly, going to the bathroom to get ready, I guess.

By the time we made it out onto the training ground, Melody was already waiting there in a pair of black shorts and a red shirt. She had her phone strapped around her upper arm and was listening to music. When she saw us coming over, she turned off her music and took her earphones out. She waved to us and said a quick hello, to everyone.
"Tass, Mel. Today we will start by fighting each other one on one, then move onto normal training. We will evaluate your speed, strength and your ability to take down your opponent. Tass and Mel will fight first, whoever wins that will fight Donny and whoever wins that round will fight me. In the first fight, you will fight in your wolf form, the next will be in human and for the finally you will be in wolf form again." Every one nodded and I continued with the rules "You'll fight in the circle over there," I point over to the middle of the field, where a large spray painted circle lay. "If you step out of the circle in any way, your opponent automatically wins. To win you have to pin down your opponent and hold them down for 10 seconds. Any questions?" Nobody says anything. I nod once and lead Tass and Melody to the circle, Donny stand besides me as Mel and Tass take their stances.
At first its pretty even, until Mel slips on the still dewy grass and Tass take the opportunity to knock her down. Show no weakness. I admire Tass she always has a game plan and doesn't slow down for anyone, some people might see that as being heartless but I see it as being brave and courageous. I got pulled out of my thoughts when I saw Donny move forward towards the ring. Tass and Mel hugged and Mel started walking towards me to watch.
