It was a rainy day and my grandma was yelling at me to get up for school. I didn't want to go, the constant shit talking kids making fun of me and the people that I hated seeing everyday I had to see.

"Bryson I want you up and dressed by the time I get up stairs or I'm taking away your music for a week!" I heard her yell from downstairs.

I quickly rushed out of bed and slipped on a pair of black skinny jeans and a black and white flannel and some white nikes.  I brushed my teeth and slipped a black hat over my head.  I wiped the crust out of my eyes and ran down stairs to get my book bag and stuff I needed for school.

"Good morning grandma." I hugged her as she gave me a bagel and water.

"Good morning Bryce, you have about 10 minutes before the bus gets here so you need to get your stuff and start walking to the bus stop."  I nodded my head before slipping the strap of my bag onto my shoulders and heading out of the kitchen.

"Later grandma I'll see you after school"  I yelled before walking out of the small house she owned.

The bus stop was at the end of the street. I pulled my iPod out of my bag and put on my head phones listening to some music and then. Continuing down the street.

As my white souls of my shoes got the rough pavement the wind pushed cold are through the Louisville streets. I stood in the cold before hearing the loud engine of the big yellow school bus. I closed my eyes and said my prayers for nothing bad to happen through this day.

The breaks squealed as the bus came to a stop and the two glass doors opened.  I took the five steps up and began looking for an open seat. Once I spotted one I walked to the eighth row left side before sitting down.

I closed my eyes as the bus got back in motion. After about seven minutes I opened my eyes to see where we were.

The bus had stopped at a new stop. A girl with long black hair and brown skin stepped onto the bus. She was wearing a pair of black leggings with a white dress. More than a few people pulled on her trying to get her attention. Many times she turned around and kindly asked them to stop as she got close in put my focus back on my music until I felt someone tap my shoulder.

I quickly took off my headphone and looked up to see the girl standing in front of me.

"May I sit here?" Her voice was soft and cordial.

"Uh yeah sure." I put my headphones back on and scooted in the seat.

"What's your name I heard her ask me."  I put my music in pause and took my headphones off once again.

"My name is Bryson what's yours?"

"My name is Cori Gia Grey" she smiled showing her purple braces and dimples.

"Nice name."

"Why aren't you sitting with anyone?" She asked confused.

"Well I'm not really popular I'm not even liked I don't know why but I'm not so I rather sit alone than sit with someone that most likely doesn't know me or doesn't like me."
