Chapter 3

Shelby's P.O.V

I woke up and put on a crop top and shorts, then did my make up and hair. I walked down stairs to see only Max. " Should you or I wake up Ross" I ask. " I will." Max says and pulls an air horn  out and walks to Ross's room, I cover my ears when Max sounded the air horn and  then I  hear "  My God Max."  I started just cracking up laughing.  "Well that got him up" Max says. It took about 30 minutes before Ross was finally finished. "Hurry up, I don't want to be late on my first day." I shouted at Ross." I'm coming down" he yelled back.

We finally made it to the office. I was nervous about what people think about me. I walked in and followed Ross to where ever I needed to go. Max went to his desk and I continued to follow Ross. He led me to a small office. We went in and Ross ended up leaving me there by myself. "Hi, I'm Adam, So you're just going to work for the summer right?" He said " I'm Shelby and yes that's correct." I said. " Okay follow me I will show you your office you can decorate it but you have to take everything when you leave" "Okay" He led me to an office next to some dude, I don't know, but I might soon. There were some monitors and a chair but that was about it. I set up the desktop by customizing my background and logging into minecraft. I look out of my office and I see girl run into my office, " Hello, I'm Jess and I cant believe there's another girl in the office. Usual its just me, Alsea has baby mason to take care of so she's not here much. Oh I should stop blabbering;" She said. "Hello I'm Shelby , I'm just here for the summer though." I told her. "Oh, why just the summer."  Jess asked. "I'm staying here with my cousin, Ross." I said, "Wait your cousin is Ross. I didn't know. Oh Ross is going to get it for not telling me." She says, " Oh sorry I will see later I guess." then she ran out of the room screaming Ross.

I wait for Ross to finish so he can take me home.  Max comes over and sits next to me and we talk about random stuff. Ross finally came out from recording.  "What took you so long Ross"  I asked. "Jess came in and asked why I didn't tell her about you. And she went on and on. " He said. " Well then can we head home now." I asked. " Yeah we can." he said and started walking and I followed then followed by Max. All of a sudden I was pulled aside by Jess yelling " I will take her home." Then she said quieter "I think Max likes you, I have never seen him look at someone like that" "Why do you think that we have only known each other for 3 days." I said "Well he just acts different around you than he does around other people," Jess said. "Okay can you maybe take me home, Jess if he wants to ask me out he will." once I said that Jess lead me to her car. " Okay but if he hasn't by next week I'm talking to him." She says  then whispers as we get closer to her car, " I ship it, Shelax" I shook my head and got in her car.

After a little trouble finding the apartment we found it I thanked her for the ride and got out and went to the door. And of course it was locked. I knocked and knocked. After about ten minutes someone finally opened the door. "what have you been doing I've been knocking for about ten minutes!" I shouted at them, Max and Ross were at the door they looked at each other and didn't answer me. So I just walked past them and went to my room.  Ugh why do they do this to me. I just sat on my bed looking through twitter when Max came in. "Hey, I'm sorry about earlier I was just mad." I told him " Its okay we were talking when you knocked on the door and we just didn't open it." He told me. I laughed then realized our faces were only inches apart. We stared into each others eyes and he leaned in and we kissed. Our Lips were in sync. When we pulled apart I looked at the ground, blushing. "I should go." Max said leaving me sitting there, just shocked.  I just lied on my bed and thought about what happened.
 

Did I Like Max?
