Chapter 1

I turned up the spiral, the music blasting in my ears, as I leaned against the graffiti I had put on this wall the night before.

I finally rested my left leg against the wall, leaving the weight on the other leg. After a while of switching my legs. I ran towards the forest.

I brushed past people as my feet scraped against the ground. My shoes flew off as I hit a part of the forest were no one could see me.

I let my clothes break as my bones cracked into the form they were meant to be in, the fur started sprouting onto my once smooth skin.

Once I was in full transformation. I howled for the location of my pack. I soon got a howl back. I listened closely and followed the sound to my pack.

The leaves crunched as I ran across them in attempt to get to my pack. I heard growling behind me as I picked up the pace.

I finally spotted my pack and took a leap and landed in our territory. The wolves behind me growled and I bared my teeth warning them that I'm an alpha.

I turned around to my pack as they stared in awe as I came back without a mark, flawless.

I rushed towards the perfectly curved rock, I call my den. My paws made contact with the cold rocky stone, as the pack went back to what they were doing.

I finally spotted my black furred mate, sleeping in the corner. I snuggled up in front of him as I looked at my once skinny, but now holding pups belly.

I new that today my pups would come. The doc said I will have two. We already have the names for a boy and girl. But we don't know the sex of the baby.

So we have names chosen for boys or girls. I felt Kenos paw fall on top of mine. I turned my head to him. His eyes were open he was examining every line in my fur.

I smiled and licked his muzzle. He snuggled up closer to me. I let his warmth fill my body as we snuggled together. This coziness didn't last long as I felt water treating down my hind leg.

I looked back and my water has broken. "Babe! My water Broke!" I yell. He bursts up from his bed and runs to the docs den. When he comes back doc tell me to calm down.

"Ready?" He asks. I nod. "Push!" He says I start to push as the pain fills my body. I use all my strength and after the fifth time both my children are out.

I close my eyes in relief as the pain fades away. I open my eyes and what I see, I couldn't explain. One of my pups wasn't breathing. I feel tears sting my eyes as I scream "NO!"

I see Keno fighting back the tears as my face starts soaking up as the tears stream my face. My pup is gone, my pup is dead. Doc hands me my other pup and leaves the room.

I hold the little baby boy in my arms and looks at his dead sister. "I'm sorry, Phillip" I said licking his little black body. I smile as he giggles. At least we have, Phillip.

Me and Keno snuggled up together with Phillip in my paws. I close my eyes and imagine what our daughter would have looked like. My thoughts out cut out when I hear crying.

I open my eyes and look at Phillip who's dead asleep. I carefully get up, making sure not to wake up Phillip nor Keno. I make my way towards the side of our den, were our daughters body still lays.

I stared in shock, as I watched my dead pup cry and shake. This wasn't happening, Our pup was alive! Our PUP IS ALIVE! "Keno!" I yell bursting into tears of joy. He runs over to wear I am and sees the miracle in front of our eyes.

He looks at me as I pick the pup up. "Hello there, Sassy" I say popping her nose. She stops crying when Phillip lays next to her. They snuggle up together and before we know it there fast asleep.

I look at Keno and he wipes my tears away. We lay down with pups, and I let my eyelids slip atop my eyes. I was tired for everything that had happened, and soon I fell to slumber.
