Chapter 4

Hayley

I snuggle next to the little pup. I didn't feel safe anywhere now. Jack was going crazy and it was scary. He said that he never gets what he wants and that he will get what he wants soon.

I picked the pup up with my beak. Making sure my beak wouldn't hurt the black little pup. I put Sassy down with her mother and flew off to the trees. My wing had healed. I flew towards Marks house.

When I landed in front of the door, I checked my surroundings making sure no one was in sight. I shifted back, my clothes appear and I felt the warmth of them fill my body. I felt like someone was watching me.

I was right. Before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my back then my head. All consciousness drained my head and everything went black.

I peeled my eyes open, as the morning sunlight stung them, I balanced onto my legs and walked, flinching time to time from the pain screwed in my back. I let the sunlight soak my fur. I turned around, looking in the corner were Hayley slept.

She must've went out hunting. Something didn't smell right in the air. My ears perked up at the sound of leaves breaking. I sniffed the air. Human.

I got in battle position and bared my teeth towards the human. When they came in eye vision. I un bared my teeth. Mark. I knew something didn't smell right. I shifted to human.

"What happened?" I asked smelling the fear radiating off his body. "Hayley. She's. Gone" He says, I see the stray tear marks on his face. I felt my eyes sting as I held back tears.

I ran as fast as my legs could take me. Before I knew it, I scented Hayley. And.. Jack. I looked at Jacks apartment. I never knew I had this strength. But with one kick, the door swiftly fell from its hinges.

Hayley was tied up, so was Jack, and Pewdiepie. I looked at who was by them.. I couldn't believe it.. It was really him.. No. He's dead... No.. No.. No.... Why?
