Chapter 2

I woke up to the sound of the birds singing and bugs chirping. I balanced onto my wobbly legs and walked out of the rocky, cold cave. I stepped into the leaves, there crush making me flinch. I started walking back to the city.

When an eagle came crashing down on top of me. When the eagle landed she immediately jumped off. "Sorry" She said. I looked at her wing, which looked like it had been cut.

"It's fine" I say. "I'm Ava" I say helping her onto my back. "Hayley" She says. I smile and start running towards the city. Once I was in the spot I had changed from last time, I pulled the clothes into my wolf body and started shifting.

I finally was back in my human form, I look to the eagle as they started doing the same. She had crystal blue eyes, short dirty blonde hair that was as soft as silk. She was wearing jean shorts, with a camaflouge tank top.

We started walking back to the city talking about each other. While we were walking I wasn't paying attention. I bumped into a guy with red hair. I looked up to see one of my favorite YouTubers. Markliplier.

Before I could speak, Hayley and him hugged and he gave her a peck on the lips. My mouth dropped and eyes widened. They were dating?! Hayley giggled and said "Me and Mark are dating, yes" I could hear Mark laughing.

I laughed a little from my reaction. "Cmon lets head back to my place" Hayley said. Me and Hayley walked together arms linked in a friendly way. Mark was making us laugh the whole time.

It was cute to watch as they kissed. But it made me miss Keno. On our way home I bumped into my best friend, Leo AKA Mia. Her nickname is Leo. "Hey Leo!" I said engulfing her in hug. "Sup" She said letting go of me. "How's Mark doing?" I asked. Mark looked at me weird.

I rolled my eyes. "Leo's son is named Mark" I said laughing. Mia giggled a little and nodded. "Who's the father?" Hayley asked. Mia stood their awkwardly. Since she was gay.

Hayley finally realized what happened. "Oh! I'm so sorry! Who's the mother?" She said holding back her laughs from her mistake. "Her names Deleyni" Mia spoke up. Hayley nodded and smiled.

We said our goodbyes to Leo and left to the house. I laid on my bed which was next to Hayley's. "Hey Ava?" Hayley asked bringing my attention to her. "Yeah" I said. "How do you know Leo?" She asked curious to how I know her.

"Well Leo is a shapeshifter too" I said. Hayley's eyes widened. "Is Deleyni?" She asked. I nodded. "We call her Katrina though" I said smiling. Hayley nodded. It was late, so we turned out the lights and laid in our beds.

I thought of what Keno was doing. What he does when I'm gone? What are the pups doing? I asked myself. Soon I stopped questioning myself and let my body rest. I laid my eyelids down and fell asleep.
