One in a Million (5 Seconds of Summer Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 1

*3 weeks later*

Luke's POV

"I cannot wait to get home"  Michael said as we all walked onto the airplane that was headed to Sydney.

"Agreed, but I will definetly miss LA" Ashton replied

"Maybe once we get home there will be time to find some girls" Calum said with a smirk.

We all laughed at his reponse and took our seats for the long flight home.

Stephanie's POV

Today Riley was finally coming back from LA, and my plan was to surprise her at the airport.  I know she hadn't been gone long but I missed my best friend and I'm sure she had enough family time over the past couple of weeks.

I walked into the airconditioned airport and waited for her where all the other families were waiting for their loved ones to come home.  My phone vibrated in my pocket indicationg I got a text, I opened it up and it read, 'Just landed will be out of here soon! Girl time needed ASAP'  

I laughed at her text and waitied for her to come down the hallway where other passengers were just starting to exit from instead of replying.

As I waited I heard a group of people laughing come down the hallway, I looked over to see four boys about my age having a a very loud conversation.  

As they walked past me I couldn't help but notice one boy in particular that had messy blonde hair and gorgous blue eyes.  He seemed to have noticed me staring and looked my way, he stopped walking all of a sudden and looked at me directly,  just staring into my eyes as I was doing not even a second ago.  

"STEPH! Oh my gosh you're here!" A loud voice came from beind me just before a body collided into mine.  

I took my eyes off of his and almost screamed but then realized it was only Riley giving my a hug.  I hugged her back, laughing with her.  "Yeah I came to give you a ride home so you don't have to drive home with your family." I wispered into her ear but then looking around to see if the boy was still there but he had disapeared.  

"Thank the lord you are so smart!  It was a great vacation but the 14 hour flight with them was to much." She said as her family came over to see me as well.

"Stephanie it's great to see you but a bit of a surprise"  

"You to Mr. James, I came to give Riley a ride home I hope you don't mind" I replied to her dad.

"No not a problem, I knew she would be out the door to your house as soon as we pulled in anyways" He said while laughing.

So Riley and I walked over to the baggage claim and made small talk until we got all of her bags then left to go get my car.  As we were headed out the doors someone bumped into me on the way out from behind and of course I dropped her bags. 

"Hey buddy, watch where you're going!" Riley said to the man that had bumped into me.

"Oh gosh! I'm so sorry! Are you alright babe?"  The voice was masculine and I looked to see who had hit me.  

He stood towaring over me and blue eyes were piercing into mine with concern, the same eyes that I had been staring at only minutes ago.  

I was unable to speak for seconds before he offered me a hand with Riley's belongings.  This was only a boy geez get your act together Steph,  I told myself   "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry about it."  I said shakily while he handed me the bags that had been dropped.  

I grabbed the bags and my hand brushed his sending a spark through me.  Woah.  He opened his mouth to speak again but was cut off by the same three other boys he was with pulled up in a big black SUV,

"Luke lets GO!"  The one with almost black hair said emphasizing the go.  "You can flirt with girls some other time I want to get home!"

Luke. I liked that name and it fit him well.  

He blushed and began to walk away "See you aroud."  He said while getting in the car and driving away.  

"Yeah see you" I wispered.
