Chapter 7

"Well then, let's start this meeting." Sophie said eyes still on Chippeh and Gally.

"Ahem. I just came back from my dorm room because the Unhackables were visiting me. It was raining heavily thanks to a certain hacker, Pyro. Apparently it was a mistake or something." Chippeh said as everyone listened.

"Hm. Now what is it that they did while they were stuck with you?" Dyan asked ready to take notes.

"Well we talked more about our pasts since we barely talked about them. There was a certain part in each of their pasts that were similar."

"And that would be?" El pushed on.

"They all found an accessory that they felt they should keep. Or in Fizzy's case she already had it. If I remember correctly, Fizzy had a bracelet with emerald designs on it, Evie has a wristband with diamonds, Teresa has an anklet with amethyst hearts, Cookieh has a headband of ruby hearts, Badge has a topaz ring, and Kailey has a peridot necklace. We didn't really about Haley's past since the group already knew about it. I don't know if she has one or not..."

"Hmm... Sophie. This might be bad. There is a book on these things. I can look for it later if you want me to." Ate said.

"We have a library?" Uni asked.

"Yeah."

"If I remember correctly, the Unhackables found these things before reaching the facility right? Maybe they have something to do with the whole Unhackable business!" Violet said.

"Maybe... Anything else?" Sophie said.

"Nope. Hey hey! Since we still have time, why don't we get to know each other a bit more? Like our pasts before walking down the yellow painted brink road?" Gally said.

"I'm totally down for it!" El said as Violet nodded.

"Hm. Who starts first?"

"I shall!" Uni said getting comfortable in her seat.

"I was born a natural hacker unlike Sophie who joined. I lived in the sky of the city. I didn't have a purpose in living till I met my friend which you saw back on the day we hackered the spawn system. Their name is Anonymous. They took me in as their apprentice and taught me the ways of living in the slums. I adapted quiet easily. Then on day, I got a letter from the previous hacker leader. I was being recruited to join the ranks of the higher hackers. I was about to deny it when Anonymous patted my head and told me to live and dream big. I then accepted and was put into Dyan's unit. I still go and buy certain drugs and help Anonymous out from time to time."

"This Anonymous person... Do you happen to know his real name?" Dyan asked.

"Nope. He just told me to call him Anonymous or anything I want."

"I see... Well I should go next."

"I don't remember my life as a small child, but I do remember that I was abandoned in the woods by those I would have called family. I was surrounded by a pack of wolves when I was in search for food and water. When the alpha of the group attacked, I dodged to the side and touched it's head with my hands. It suddenly turned to its pack and howled. The pack scattered while the alpha stayed and looked after me. When the pack came back, they had three different sacks with them. A sack of food, water, and clothes. From that point, I survived by hacking others for my own good. I was recruited by the previous hacker boss because of my 'potential'. I was then ranked up to be the leader of the BTS leader and first in command for Sophie." Dyan finished with a sigh.

"Hm. I'll go next then." Prince El said.

"I was born into royalty by chance. Apparently I was made by accident. By that I mean that I was picked out from the slums to become prince. I had to learn everything from scratch from basic English to how to eat soup. It was SOUP-er annoying with all of the fussing and learning. I decided to run away. I chose my trust knight, Violet, to accompany me. We were just causing problems and memeing everyone we passed when we came across Ate. She invited us to join her unit and so here we are!" he said as Violet nodded.
