Killianand I were sitting on the couch. He was reading a book on parentingwhile I stared at Excalibur on the coffee table. Suddenly, an abruptmovement came from the pit of my stomach.


"Killian!"I yelped.


"Emma?"he looked at me, instantly worried.


"Areyou alright?" he said, looking back and forth from my face to mystomach.


"Isit the baby?"


"Something'swrong, something doesn't feel right,"


"MayI?" he asked, his good hand hovering over my stomach.


Inodded once. Killian replaced my hand with his own as he looked intothe distance, waiting for something, anything. Within 2 minutes, hisface lit up.


"Swan,"he chuckled, looking lovingly at my abdomen.


"Itold you, something's wrong!"


"Love,"


"NoKillian, Hospital, now!"


"Emma!"


"What!"


"There'sno need love. I read about this in my book. It's kicking, the baby'skicking,"


"What?No, no it's too early!"


"Well,it is magical,"


"Wait.I don't think that's kicking,"


"Whatdo you mean?"


"Bluesaid our child would become either the next Savior or the next DarkOne. Either way, it's going to have magic,"


"Notquite following you there, Swan,"


"Thekids not kicking. It's magic. The baby's magic is pulsing. It's likewhen I was trying to get my magic under control. It's learning tocontrol it,"


"Magic?"


"Magic,"


Hesmiled at me,"Just like it's Mother,"


"Dependingon what it'll become," his smile faded slightly.


"Whateverhappens, we'll deal with it,"
