Chapter 1

Just Charming

“I can’t take it anymore!” I put the third cup of milk on the marble island and let out a frustrated sigh as I glanced at my flat chest. “That liar!”

“What’s wrong, Hunny?” My mother asked me as she came into the kitchen, her face scrunched up in worry as she stared at me. As usual she looked absolutely stunning; her face was smooth and had no wrinkles whatsoever. It bothered me that my mom looked way prettier than me.

“Madison told me that if I drank milk, then my boobs would grow bigger,” I explained as I grabbed the glass cup and lifted it to my lips. I drank the last remaining liquid in one swallow, and put the cup down once again.

“Oh sweetheart,” my mother sighed, her face full of pity. “Just face the fact that your grapes will never be melons,” she put her hand on my shoulder and smiled reassuringly. I glowered and furrowed my eyebrows in anger.

“What are you trying to say mom? I don’t understand your fruit talk,” I narrowed my eyes at her trying to look threatening, but it only made my mother giggle like a school girl. Not only does she look like a sixteen year old but she acts like one too.

“Oh, look at the time. You are going to miss your bus if you don’t hurry,” she pointed at the clock hanging over the stove. It was exactly seven and the bus comes around in five minutes.

I gasped and quickly got my backpack ready to run out the door when I realized my mom was the one that drove me to school. “Uh, mom aren’t you going to drive me to school?”

“I thought I told you yesterday that my car broke down?” She tilted her head to the side and gave me an innocent look. Her big brown eyes glistening as she gave me a baby face with her hands clasped together.

            “Mom!”

“I didn’t tell you? I thought I did,” she looked away suddenly finding the white marble floor interesting. “Oh well, why don’t you just ask Tyler to drive you to school?” She inquired a devious glint burning in her eyes.

“Ty-Tyler,” I stuttered his name like a school girl my cheeks turning a bright red on my pale face. “He probably left a while ago, and plus I wouldn’t want to disturb him or anything. I mean I would like to get a ride from him, but it would probably annoy him or som—”

“It’s okay,” she cut me off and gave me a thumbs up as she put her cellphone back in her pocket. “I just called Tyler, and he said it was okay.”

“Mom!” I scolded my face burning even redder.

“Come on Eva, this is an opportunity to capture his heart and make him into a—Prisoner of Love!” She squealed loudly, the noise hurting my sensitive ears.

The doorbell suddenly drowned out my mother’s voice, and I put a hand on my heart. That was Tyler; I am most definitely certain that is him. He is waiting outside for me to join him on a wild adventure full of love and passion.

“What are you waiting for Eva? Go on and have an exciting school day, may the odds be forever in your favor!” My mother said as she pushed me to the front door. She opened the front door and I instantly froze as my eyes met a pair of soft sapphire blue eyes.

“Hello Tyler dear,” my mother greeted beside me, “What a wonderful day isn’t it?”

“Good morning Mrs. Harper, and the weather seems a bit gloomy to me,” he replied back with a charming smile. His whole face seemed to be surrounded by bright roses and I couldn’t help but stare at his perfect flawless face. It was as smooth as a baby’s butt…
