You fill the popcorn bucket and you turn towards the couple that made the order, "would you like butter?" "yes." You drizzle butter on top and hand them the bucket, "enjoy your movie" you smile slightly and they return the smile. You see that there's no one else in line so you sit down behind the counter and take your phone out. The screen reads *12 missed messages from Shay* The first one reads "You'll never believe what he did!" You roll my eyes and let out a sigh, "I don't know how she puts up with Josh when all he does is upset her" you hear a noise and you look up to see a boy with curly hair leaning over the counter. "Having fun down there?" he asks with a slight laugh. You get up quickly and awkwardly brush your hair behind your ear, "Best friend drama." "Aw, is everything okay?" You smile at him, "It'll be okay thanks." You notice he seems to be studying your face and you blush, "Oh,ha, no problem. I'm Jc by the way." He smiles at you, and you notice how perfect his smile is and how it fits his face in just the right way, followed by his cute dimples..."what's your name?" "Shit" you thought, "Oh, um it's (y/n)" "That's beautiful."
