Chapter 4

Your phone ringing wakes you up, you look over at your clock and it's only seven in the morning. "Who's calling me this early?" You reach over and grab your phone off your nightstand and see Jc's name on the screen. "Hey Jc." "Hey (y/n), would I be able to come over and talk to you it's important." You feel your anxiety rise, "Oh, um sure." "Be right over." You get up out of bed and slip on black shorts and a long sleeved maroon shirt. "What does he need to talk about..?" You pace around your room nervously until you hear a knock on the door. You hurry to go answer it and you open it to see Jc with his hands in his pockets, he greets you with a small smile. "So what's up?" You close the door behind him and invite him to sit on the couch. "I have something I need to ask you about." You anxiously pull down on the sleeves of your shirt, "What is it?" He runs his hand though his hair,"Would you want to go to the back to school dance with me?" You kiss his cheek and smile at him,"Of course." A look of surprise appears on his face "Really?" "Yes, why wouldn't I want to?" His eyes gaze down at his feet, "Because I'm not the best looking guy out there and you, you are so beautiful it blows me away." Your face turns red and you gently push his face back up to face yours,"You are the best looking guy in my opinion and I wouldn't want to go with anyone else." He leans in and kisses you, "You're amazing, but I was also wondering if you wanted to go get something to eat with me right now?" "Yeah let's go." Jc holds your hand and walks you out to his car then opens the door for you. "Thank you Jc." "No problem (y/n)." He gets in and starts driving. "So where are we going?" A smile appears on his face,"Somewhere good." "Well I'd hope so." You both laugh,"His laugh just made my day." You put your hand on his lap, "Whoa do you have a crush on me or something?" "Noo I'm just dating you and going on a date with your for no reason." He looks over at you and gives you a pouty look, "Hurtful." Suddenly you see Jc's focus go right back on the road as he swerves to miss a car...
