You laugh when you read or hear the word potato because you cannot help but think of the scene where Sam explains to Gollum what a Po-tat-to is. ( once in spelling we had to write a sentence for our spelling words and I used the word potato but I wrote it like this : po-tat-to. Lol. :-) I wonder if my English teacher ever got that joke, she has seen LOTR so there's a possibility that she did. :-) )
