Perfect - {Matthew Daddario}

Chapter Four

Tori: I'm in my room safe and sound

I text Matthew as soon as I walk in the the hotel room.

 A wave of relief washed over me as I step out of my stilettos. Being a girl is hard. I sit on the edge of the bed thinking about what a great night it had been. I met some incredible people, one which I was kind of crushing on. We had an articulate conversation and he had hugged me a certain way that made my heart race. As I stand to get my pj's I feel my phone vibrate in my hand.

Matt: good. hope to see you soon

Tori: You will. I'm here to stay. Lol

Matt: I like the sound of that

 Something was fluttering around my stomach. I felt these soft kicks, like my stomach was flipping over itself. Like it was about to twist up into a knot and I couldn't help but smile.

He wants to see me again. Matthew frigging Daddario wants me to stick around....

No, Victoria he's just being nice. Why would he ever go for a girl like you?

My phone vibrates again, I immediately shake the negative thoughts off and look excitedly look at my phone thinking it would be Matt, but it was Harry this time.

Harry: thnx for making him smile. We're all very grateful.

Tori: You're welcome but I wasn't even trying

Harry: Ik... that's what makes it so wonderful 

Tori: what do you mean?

Harry: I think it will be good for everyone if you stick around.

Tori: That doesn't answer my question

I was starting to get a little frustrated. What is with him? He is making no sense.

I guess Matt isn't the only one who wants me to stick around.

Harry: gn Victoria. I have a feeling I'll be seeing a lot more of you

Confused and dazed I change into my Olaf pj's and lay in the king size bed. I get under the covers looking up at the ceiling thinking about Matt and how his eyes light up when he smiles. How his chest puffs when he laughs.
But then I remember the dark bags under his eyes.And how depressed he looked. The way he was slouching. How he didn't eat, just had a little too much too drink.

I wonder when I'll see him again. When will I hear his voice again.

And thinking of Matt I drift into sleep.

  I sigh enjoying the warm water on my body as I shower. Today was the day of the audition and I was supposed to meet up with Kat afterwards for lunch. Warily, I turn off the shower and step out of the tub grabbing one of the white towels to wrap around myself. I walk into the room and head to the night table where my outfit for the day was neatly folded. I slip into my clothes, skinny jeans, a black T-shirt and some Jordan's. Once dressed I exit my hotel room, my phone in one hand and my bag in the other.

The ride to the set took a little longer than anticipated making me a few minutes late for the audition. 

"You're here." my agent, Becky, lets out as as I walk into the waiting room. "Finally." she hands me the script I will be reading from. "You are only reciting the highlighted lines. Now go in there and blow their minds."

I take a deep breath before opening the door where the casting crew was waiting for me. I stand in the middle of the room. "Good morning. My name is Victoria Rodriguez and I'm auditioning for the role of Raven Gonzalez." I state and start acting out the highlighted lines with the help of one of the writers, who was reading off his own script. I take a bow when I'm done and wait for their response. 

A man with curly brown hair and glasses spoke up "I think I speak for everyone when I say, you are amazing." he looks at his coworkers, who all nodded their heads at his words. "We knew you would be the perfect Raven."

I smiled. It feels good to have people tell you you're good at your job. Specially when you're as insecure as me. 

The same man, the one with the curly brown hair, tells me join them at the table. He then stands and leaves the room, coming back moments later accompanied by Becky, who sits next to me. I feel my hands starting to shake, I hate being the center of attention. 

They all introduce themselves and state their jobs, and how they are important to the making of the movie. Then the creator of the movie, Maggie Ross, offers some background information on Raven and the plot of the story.

"There are a lot of sex scenes on this story line. I hope that wont be a  problem with you." 

Who would want to touch you. You're hideous. 

"But don't worry we have a handsome young man playing your love interest, Ryan, so I don't think we won't have a problem ." she winks at me.

I feel anxiety rush trough me. The thought of having a complete stranger touch my body is very uncomfortable. The only person I have ever film a sex scene with is Jordan and we are really close. Best friends. There's no awkwardness. No angst. 

A knock comes from the door, making me jump. "Come in." says Maggie.

A tall, thin lady walks into the room, "Sorry to interrupt but your 10:30 is waiting outside." she says to no one in particular.

"Great. We'll be with him shortly." Maggie smiles and the lanky lady nods her head and exit the room.

"Looks like your new coworker's here." Maggie announced, evidently excited. "I cant wait for you to meet him. He is really handsome. And very talented."

Maggie stands up and soon everyone follows, and I do the same. Everyone makes their way out of the room and into the waiting area where a tall, handsome guy with dark hair and hazel eyes was patiently waiting in one of the chairs. He had a slight beard and dark bags under his eyes. 

Matt.

Matthew Daddario is my coworker? No he can't be.

He looks up and smiles as soon as he sees me. He stands, his eyes gleaming. "Tori." he makes his way to me. "What are you doing here?" 

All eyes were on us as he wrapped his arms around me, embracing me in a tight hug. 

"I could ask you the same thing." I smile up at him, still in his arms.

"Do you guys know each other?" asks someone from behind us.

"We just met last night." answers Matt. "Victoria is good friends with one of my coworkers."

"Well its a good thing you guys get along so well. That would make the scenes less awkward."

Matt and I shared the same confused look. 

"Raven meet Ryan. Ryan meet Raven."

A/N: I apologize for the boring chapter. And I'm so sorry for taking so long to update, school is taking up a lot of my time and it is my senior year of high school so there's a lot to do. But anyways, I decided to dedicate this chapter to @HerAllMighty for all the support and feedback she has provided me. She is an awesome person.
