Reader-chan POV
Previously on We're Both Monsters

I looked at my surroundings and froze. This seemed...familiar.
Then I saw them. Off in the distance. They were close and yet so far. But I could easily recognize them.
Those clear blue eyes beneath thick blonde eyebrows.
My legs wobbled a bit.
Those eyes locked with mine and I could see surprise, shock and relief in them.
"Commander Erwin?"

I couldn't move. It was like my legs were part of the concrete below my feet, but at the same time, my heart and adrenaline were urging me to run like my life depended on it towards the man before me.
Everything seemed to stop, except for me. I ran. I ran towards him with full speed and threw myself into his opening arms.
Commander Erwin caught me and enveloped me into his warm and fatherly embrace. He stroked my hair like he used to when I was a kid, as I buried my face in his neck.
"C-Commander Er-Erwin," I sniffed, and smiled through the few tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Is it truly you (y/n)? After all this time, you're finally here?" he muttered, and squeezed me tighter.
"Yes I'm home. I'm back home," I smiled and pulled back to see his soft and kind blue eyes staring down into my own.
"You have no idea how much I have missed you," he smiled, as he kissed my forehead. Erwin has always been like a dad to me...
"And not just myself. Everyone back at HQ as well...even Levi," he chuckled the last part.
"Where have you been this whole time? Were you safe? Did anyone harm you? Were you forced to do anything-" I cut him off with a shake of my head.
"No, sir. I've been very well taken care of. Actually, the people behind me managed to do so and they helped me come back home," I explained, then we turned towards the others.
Ciel, Mey-Rin, Bard, Finny, Tanaka (in his normal form) and, most importantly, Sebastian.
I beckoned for them to come forward. Erwin lightly puffed his chest out and straightened his back just as he does every time he's in front of other people.
"Sebastian, Ciel, Mey-Rin, Bard,
Finny and Tanaka? This is Commander Erwin Smith of the Survey Corps. I believe I've mention him a few times before..." I smiled and introduced him to the manor's residents.
"Pleasure to meet you all," smiled Erwin.
"The pleasure is all mine, Commander," responded Ciel in his usual tone. Erwin looked at me as if asking "who is this kid?" I snorted and shrugged.
"It's so nice to meet you sir!" Smiled the servants.
"It is an honor," said Tanaka, giving him a closed eyed smile.
"I'm glad to finally meet the man that (y/n) looks up to," said Sebastian and smiled. It was a true smile, not like his usual fake ones he directs towards others.
"Where did you all come from, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Erwin.
"England, I believe it is somewhere very far from here..." trailed off Sebastian.
"Well that doesn't matter right Commander Erwin? I mean as long as we're here is what matters right?" I smiled nervously at him. He frowned, giving me a "we're definitely talking about this later" look. I sighed in defeat and nodded.
"Are they going to manage to get back to that certain place?"
"I'm not sure...but they're welcome to stay here right? Besides they're good enough to be soldiers for a while. Trust me," I said. Erwin looked down at me, shocked.
"Are you positive? Every single one of them?" he said, although his eyes said it all: even the kid and the elderly man?
I nodded and he sighed. I'm glad he trusts my word that much.
I frowned when he began patting my head.
"Well it seems that (y/n) has seen some potential and strength that will make you a great part of our regiment. So will you serve under the corps for some time?" asked Erwin in his stern voice.
"Sebastian?" asked Ciel. Everyone turned their heads to look at him, as if their answer depended on him.
Sebastian's head turned and his eyes locked with mine, a playful spark in them. He smiled at me and nodded.
"Of course, my lord. We have all the time we need." I smiled back at him as the others whooped in joy.
"Lord?" Asked Erwin.
"Yeah the kid is a noble from where they're from...long story," I explained.
"(Y/n) lets go back to head quarters and inform everyone you're back. And we'll have to give them some uniforms." Smiled Erwin and turned on his heel, beckoning for us to follow him.
I walked behind him and felt Sebastian walking beside me.His gloved hand intertwined with mine and squeezed. I heard some gasps behind us.
"Sebastian?! You and-" Bard began but Sebastian interrupted him with a look.
I smiled and placed my other hand on his arm, squeezing it softly, feeling strong muscles underneath.
I almost blushed at the thought but remembered my commander of the military was in front of me and it was completely unprofessional.
Sebastian saw my reaction and smirked.

Time skip~arrival at HQ

Well crap. That was the first thing I thought when I entered the mess hall.
My squad, as in the Levi squad, especially Petra (a/n: so I'm not going to kill off the Levi squad and you'll see why)
who enveloped me in a bone crushing hug kept crying about how much she missed me. The others hugged me as well as Petra squeezed my cheeks.
"You've gotten even more beautiful!! What have you been doing?!" She gasped.
"(Y/N)!?!?!?!" shouted a familiar voice I recognized from anywhere. Hange Zoe.
"Oh my TITANS OUTSIDE THE WALLS!!!! YOU'RE FINALLY BACK!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!" Hange shouted in my ear as she threw herself at me and embraced me.
"I missed you guys too!! So much!! You have no idea how it was like without my family!!" I smiled over Hange's shoulder.
"Oi!! Brats what the hell is going on here?!?" shouted another voice behind us. I turned around after Hange let go of me and saw...
"HEICHOU!!!!" I shouted as I ran towards him and hugged him tightly, knowing it would piss him off. Damn, I missed this short tempered ass.
"What the hell? Damn shitty brat!" he growled. But after a few moments, he reluctantly and hesitantly wrapped his arms around me.
"WHAT?!? SHORTIE IS ACTUALLY HUGGING SOMEONE?!?" teased Hange.
"Shut up, shitty glasses," growled Levi.
"I missed you, captain clean freak," I smiled onto his shoulder. He buried his face onto my neck and I felt him smile slightly against it.
"I missed you too, damn brat. If you leave again, I'll kill you," he muttered. I laughed and pulled away.
I saw Sebastian, Ciel and the others looking at us. I then introduced them with each other.
They got along very well actually. Hange and Petra were coddling Ciel and even Finny, whereas, since Sebastian said he was a butler from where he was from, started talking about best cleaning strategies. I shook my head and followed Erwin into his office.
I smiled in happiness. I missed everything. I remembered every hallway and what its doors led to.
We finally reached Erwin's office.
"(Y/n) shut the door behind you please," said Erwin. After I did so, he hugged me so tightly I thought my bones would break. I hugged back with enough force, smiling against his shoulder, trying oh so hard to not cry again.
He broke first though.
"You have no idea how scared I was that I lost you, (y/n). I was so worried about you, not knowing where you were since you're always going to be like my daughter."
"I was worried about you too. And everyone else, in fact. I was scared that something happened and I wasn't here to help," I admitted. Erwin smiled.
"You needn't worry about that. Everyone is safe, just not the same without you. Now...you have some explaining to do, young lady. And don't give me those eyes, thinking you'll make me change my mind," he said, smiling when I frowned.
And I did. I explained everything. From the part where I suddenly got transported to another universe to serving a noble kid. Except, I left out the fact that Sebastian was a demon.
He took it all in surprisingly well, and he even believed me.
"It's unbelievable. But with everything we lived through, I believe you."
I smiled and nodded.
"Now (y/n)...are you ready to train the new recruits?"
