Reader chan POV

"And so that is how a Titan regenerates!" finished Hange (Hanji? Idk comment the correct spelling) with a smile and closed eyes. I swear she was close to drooling as she excitedly talked about Titans to Sebastian, Ciel and the servants who were looking at me nervously as Hange looked into the sky, her arms outstretched and her fingers twitching to grasp something.
I sighed and shook my head as I slapped my hand to my forehead. Oh Hange I love you but you seriously need to shut up with your obsession over Titans, I thought.
We were currently walking through the town near HQ trying to show the rookies around. They've all gotten the hang of the ODM gear and killing a Titan. Especially Ciel who struggled at first but with extra help, he managed to pass the tests.
"Hange I think you're overwhelming them," I muttered and shook her shoulder slightly, stopping her train of thought.
"Oh am I? I'm sorry but Titans are just so interesting!!" She squealed.
"Yeah, interesting," muttered Eren beside me and shook his head. I turned to look at him and gave a him knowing look with a small smile. Mikasa beside him adjusted her red scarf and looked at me with a barely there smile, whereas Armin just continued looking around the town.
"(Y/n)?" asked Finny behind me.
I turned to look at him and saw him fidgeting with his jacket.
Sebastian was walking beside Ciel all the way to the back, taking in the small town where there were currently merchants trying to sell their products to the wandering citizens.
Bardroy and Mey-Rin had a worried look in their eyes.
"Yes Finny?" I raised an eyebrow.
"W-when do you battle the Titans?" He asked in a small voice. I tensed.
"I'm afraid I can't answer that. It could happen at any moment." I responded and sighed, walking back to HQ.
"Oh, I see," he responded.
"Because of that we have people patrolling the walls, the Garrison Regiment," I said and pointed to the wall that was hundreds of feet away.
"However...we were too careless for a while that we lost a third of our population and one of the three walls is currently crowded with Titans," I looked down, and sighed. We were in an expedition when they broke in and they were so many by the time we tried to fight them off and avoid them from taking over. It was my first expedition...
"So now we are prepar-"
I was interrupted by the sound. The sound I've been told stricked fear and death. A loud boom.
I was frozen, my heart seemed to stop.
Silence...
I turned around and gasped. There he was.
The colossal Titan. My eyes widened as I took small steps towards it, its eyes scanned the around and landed on us. I pushed through Sebastian and Ciel.
Then screaming filled the air.
"OH GOD NO!!"
"THEY'RE GONNA GET IN!!!"
"WE'RE GONNA DIE!!"
So many screams and cries, as people ran away from the wall, children were picked up it dragged by their parents as they ran past us.
That's when something sparked within me. Something inside me.
The urge to fight. To protect.
"HEY!!! What the hell are you standing here for?!? You've been trained for this!!! So get your asses in the air!! NOW!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as the rookies behind me couldn't get their eyes off the colossal Titan.
They jumped, except for Sebastian, as Mikasa, Eren, Armin and Hange took out their swords.
I pulled out my own and pulled the triggers, the hooks shooting out and latching onto a building tower. I flew through the air and ran through the rooftops.
"We'll follow you (y/n)! What are your orders?!?" called Mikasa behind me.
"Stop the colossal Titan from kicking another hole or worse!!! Mikasa and Hange stay at my side just in case!! Armin and Eren! Stay with the with the rookies!! Am I understood?!?" I shouted and flew faster.
"Yes, ma'am" they shouted in unison.
You won't get away this time you son of a bitch, I thought as I jumped from a building and angled my body forward to go even faster.
"Armin!!! Shoot the gun!! Red smoke!!!!" I shouted, knowing someone from HQ was bound to see it.
"Got it," he cried, the familiar booming sound of the gun ringing in the air.
How the hell did he appear so fast?
Almost there...
A few seconds later we were close to the wall. I ran up it, my gear clanking with every step.
"Hit him from every angle!!!" I shouted as I jumped up, adrenaline pumping through my veins as I came face to face with the biggest Titan I had seen.
And that's what they did.
I shot my left hook and attached it to its shoulder as Mikasa and Hange attempted to blind it for a few moments.
Eren followed my movements on the other shoulder as Armin and the rookies tried to latch onto its neck.
As I flew around and latched onto its neck, his large hand tried to grasp the wire but I was faster. Way faster. My skills came close to Levi. I was even better than Mikasa, surprisingly.
"MEY-RIN WATCH IT!!!" I shouted as the Titan's other hand tried to grasp her body. She squealed and flew away just in time.
I got you now, I thought as I grunted and tried to cut through its neck.
Another loud boom was heard, but that was below.
Oh god, no.
"UGHHHH IT'S HOT!!!!" Shouted Eren beside me as he covered his face as steam hit us directly.
That means...
"ALL OF YOU STAY BACK!!! YOU'LL GET BURNED!!!!" I shouted as I cut through the nape.
But nothing.
I gasped as I dodged a humongous muscled fist.
Eren, however was hit to the side. I shot my hook out which latched onto his hip. Ouch.
At least he can heal.
"EREN!!!!" I heard Mikasa shout.
"HEY!! SHOOT WITH THE CANONS!!" I shouted.
But it was too late.
He disappeared. Again.
Just like that, it vanished into thin air, steam was left in his wake, and huge footprints on the ground below.
Then I was falling with Eren.
I shook my head and shot my hooks out.
Not long after, I flew up the wall and landed on top of it, Eren beside me, his hip bleeding and a cut on his forehead.
"Eren, heal yourself like I taught you," I instructed as I kneeled down on the wall and looked down.
My hands gripped the wall.
"Shit! We gotta get Erwin and backup!!!" I yelled as I saw Titans approaching. Their smiling faces...
"What the bloody hell was that?!?" Shouted Ciel as he walked up next to me.
"That was the colossal Titan!!! The biggest Titan we have ever encountered and for all we know, the one that the others follow!!" I shouted back and pointed at the others.
"We gotta head back to HQ!!!!" said Armin.
I nodded and met everyone's eyes.
"Let's go th-"
"SCOUTS!!!" shouted a familiar deep voice.
Erwin.
"What the hell happened here?!?" asked Levi behind him.
I looked down and saw more soldiers advancing towards us.
"The colossal Titan. It made another hole in the wall." I explained as I followed Erwin to the edge of the wall.
"Damn Garrisons aren't doing their job," Muttered Levi beside me.
"Your orders?" I asked.
"Cover the hole before-"
"Commader!! LOOK!!!" cried Mey-Rin, pointing to the distance.
I turned and my eyes widened.
A boulder was headed towards us.
Everyone ducked or dodged to the side as something landed on top of me and we collapsed on top the wall.
I looked up and saw Sebastian looking down at me worriedly.
"Are you alright?" He muttered.
I nodded. Sebastian stood and offered me his hand.
I took it and stood up, looking down at where the boulder came from.
"Oh no..." I whispered as I saw the Armoured Titan advancing quickly towards another part of the wall, groups of abnormals following him.
My eyes widened more and I gasped when he punched through it.
"They're gonna get in..." Whispered Bard.
"No they won't," I said, clenching my jaw. I turned to look at Erwin who nodded at me.
"Eren..." I said. Eren, now standing and fully healed met my eyes.
His turquoise eyes were full of anger. He nodded, knowing what I was thinking.
I looked at Sebastian who looked at me questioningly as I ran my thumb over my ring, the small blade sticking out.
Please don't hate me, I thought, as I felt a knot in my throat.
I ran towards the inside of the wall and jumped off.
It's time.
