(A/N. Time skip to the Hogwarts express)

Scorpius was sat on his own in a compartment and had his feet on his seat so that he could rest his chin against his knees. He was in his own little world, thinking about who knows what. Scorpius's head jolted to look up at the door as they were pushed open by a girl,
"Rose!" Scorpius exclaimed as he jumped up on her arrival.
"Calm down Bread-Face," Rose instructed Scorpius
"Why are you here? What-"
I thought about your offer you made at the end of last year. I said no at the time but now when I think about it, I change my answer to yes,"
At this point, Albus was opening the doors to the compartment where Scorpius and Rose were, just in time to hear the words,
"Yes Scorpius, I will go out with you."
Scorpius had to sit down when he heard this news. He couldn't believe it. His brain just couldn't process it. When finally Scorpius realised what had just happened he jumped up again and accidentally kissed Rose right on the lips. When they parted, Scorpius blushed a little and Rose shyly smiled. She pulled Scorpius in and just as they were about to make-out, Albus walked in.
"Hey" He said awkwardly.
"Hello Potter" Scorpius replied with a hint of annoyance but Albus just brushed it off.

At last the train arrived at Hogwarts and everyone trailed into the castle, watched the sorting as usual and went up to bed.

"Potter?" Scorpius asked
"Yeah?"
"Is it okay, I mean me going out with Rose?"

Albus hesitated for a moment before saying,
"Yes, of course, date who you want"

"Well, you seemed a bit, how do I put this, put out? A bit miffed?"

"I'm fine with it, don't worry. In fact I'm happy for you I know you've wanted it since Year One." Albus said this with a sour voice, which seemed to have a tone of jealousy mixed in.

But just as Albus did before, he brushed it off and put it down to tiredness. Both the boys said goodnight rolled over and fell asleep almost instantly.

Sorry for the short and late chapter.
This might happen a bit more over the next week - in hindsight this happened over the entire book I'm on holiday with really bad WiFi. So you could call it hell but I wouldn't because Spain 😂
