Alone

Family

I walked into a lifeless house. "Mom,is anyone home". I don't know why I do that everyday,because I know no one is home. No one's ever home. Ever since my mom got her promotion, and became the CEO of the multi million company she works at. She never home anymore. Dad's always over seas on a business trip or something. Since nobody was every home mom put Emily in programs everyday of the week, and well Emmett had a "glow up" during the summer and joined the football team,and is now considered hot. Or at least that what the girls who drool over him call him.
I walked up stairs and went straight into the bathroom. I locked the door even though no one's home. I walked past the mirror,not daring to look at myself. I would be disgusted. I turned on the shower as hot as it can go. The room quickly filled up with steam. It started to get hard to breath in the thick air, but I didn't turn it down, I needed to get clean. I quickly undressed and got in the scolding shower. Every drop of the water made my skin burn, but I forced my self to say in.
" I love you" I heard a voice whisper. I quickly pulled the curtain back. "Hello" I called out almost in a whisper. " I love you Em" . Suddenly I recognized the voice and started to shake. " Stop, just leave me alone" I screamed even though I knew no one was there. It was just my mind playing tricks on me. "I'm going crazy" I said to myself. "Great now I'm talking to my self I am crazy".
I still felt dirty but forced my self to get. I slipped on my robe and walked to my room. Putting on the clothes I left out this morning. I laid on my bed and before I knew it I fell asleep. " Hey Em wake up" someone said while nudging my arm. "Leave me alone " I grunted thinking it was my little sister,who have just came home from dance or something." Come on Em don't be like that, you know I love you".
My eyes flung open , Mr. O was standing above me holding his hand out, so I would grab it. I froze like I always do when he's talking to me. He came closer to me with a wide toothed grin on his face. His smile always made my skin crawl. " Leave me alone" I yelled. " I love you" he screamed. I woke up in a pool of sweat. " I can't do this anymore,i need help".
