14- the past and future

We sat there waiting for the sun to go down and started to imagine the future. I perked up, "we could move to a bigger house and we can have Papyrus move with us. We can never leave him behind."

Sans laughed, "yeah. And Mettaton will want to move in with him since they are planning to get married. And what about our kids." His face started to blush like mine started.

"y-yeah. One might be skeleton body with goat ears and horns. Pfff. And what about the goat snout with human skull and on all fours. Pffff." And sans came up with others, getting more funny looking as we went. Soon it was starting to get dark and we calmed down. Then we decided to start swapping stories, "when I was five dad decided to start training my monster side. I remember how much I was having trouble trying to activate it. I puffed out my cheeks and everything. I tried every and anything to get it. The one day I was trying extremely hard and my dad was coming over to say that it was time for a break when suddenly a massive wave of electricity shot out and hit dad. Luckily it was a weak attack but my dad, pffff, had all of his fur standing on end soo he looked extra fluffy. Hehe. That was my first attack and when I knew I had electric abilities. It was then that some of my monster features came out." I was trying to hold my laughter in.

Sans chuckled, "well that story was shocking." That did it as I burst out laughing.

When I calmed down I thought of another on, "well, as I grew up I never seem to be able to make friends. I figured others could feel my monster side and stayed clear of me. that is part of the reason I am very nervous about showing anybody it. It didn't help that when some did come, I felt nervous about it and stayed away from them too so I was a loaner as I grew up." Sans completely sobered as I said that and gave me a hug as tears started to poor down.

I took a deep breath and decided to move on from those bad memories. "*sniff* well when I hit my teens I got a job at a local dinner. My father knew some of those humans so they knew about my half side. They have been great and supportive of my. Especially the lesbian boss. She is great, sometimes her wife and children come. They are quite adorable. I remember on time the power went out and the back up generator they have in the basement wasn't working so I used my abilities to cheek the dinner going. I was exhausted by the time the power did come on. But the boss gave me and extra pay and lots of time to myself. They always seem happy to have me there." That got me to smile which sans responded with his own widening. I then told him some of the stories involving customers and the hilarious events.

We were laughing like crazy as the stars started to show. Sans then perked up, "well I remember when Papyrus was a little baby. He was soo much smaller than he and just as adorable as he is now. He was actually smaller than me. He would babble on with nonsense. One day I was replying as I if understood when I said ' gosh I love you pap' and he said something like 'love you'. That was one of my prized moments when Papyrus was a baby."

I was awe struck. Sans continued, "oh, this one time in the underground still Papyrus was asking for dating advice. At that point I was very against Mettaton with Papyrus so when Papyrus asked him and he said he would 'demonstrate' I was quite upset and got Mettaton out of the way."

I laughed as sans blushed. "there was also one time when we were at our sentry stations underground where we were spouse to catch a human I decided to have some fun with Papyrus. So I called him and said I found a human. When I ran to my station I put on some fake glasses with a mustache which Papyrus didn't recognize. I said I was a human which he grabbed me and took me all the way to Undyne saying he caught a human. I still can't get over that joke." And he burst out laughing. I soon joined.

It was getting dark as we shared a few more stories. We were opening up. We hopped up and started to walk towards the pond as we laughed some more and swapped stories. We were heading home. As we neared the place I showed sans my monster side after the nightmare. We stopped at the pond and it looked like sans wanted to say something. He looked me in the eyes, "listen (y/n). I just want to tell you-" he was interrupted by my phone ringing.

We both chuckled at that and I picked up expecting my dad to ask where I am. Even though I am an adult he still worries. But instead I heard a male voice I wish I never heard, " hello (y/n). I think this little date is going well. Don't you. Sharing stories. Laughing. Well now you have a choice. Come with us or your 'boyfriend' gets it." I had paled by the end.

Sans looked worried and was about to take the phone when he starts to fall. I drop the phone to catch him. I wasn't expecting it so we both fall. I notice a dart sticking out of sans neck. Then men and monsters with red eyes come out of the bushes all around us. A large men steps forward, "now. You have to make that choice. Either we take you peacefully and your skeleton lives for another day and we will forget about all your friends. Or. We can take your boyfriend with you and maybe drag his dopey brother with you. Maybe even eliminate your other friends. So what will it be." I looked at sans worried. Wondering what they did. The man chuckled, "he will be fine. We just darted him so there wasn't much resistance. We had a special mixture just for skeletons. It won't harm him in the lightest. It magically made and very hard to come by so we used our only stock on him. Well worth it. Now. Make your choice."

Without any though I gave myself up. I love him. I didn't want him or Papyrus dragged with me. I knew there wasn't any hope of a rescue. I stood up after carefully laying sans on the ground in a comfortable position. As they came at me with their red insane filled eyes they stomped on my forgotten phone and crushed it. Then two grabbed each of my arms and dragged me away without leaving as much as a track. Tears started to pool down my face. I was just starting to accept both my life and myself with a possible happy ending for it to only be taken away. I can only hope sans can be happy, forgive me and find someone who would care for him. I don't know what they have planned for me.
