"How...." As she started to say before he cut her off.
"Don't worry miss. Everything is going to be okay."
By then the whole house exploded. Minutes go by and they just stare
at the blaze. In a way they are both stunned by the way the fire roars in
flames. Their amazement is soon over. The next thing they know, fire
trucks are there putting out this horrible monster. The head of the fire
department comes over and talks to Karenina, and this mystery man.
"Hello my name is John, and I am in charge of the fire department. Can I
ask you a few questions prior to this fire/explosion?"
"Yea sure, ask away."
"Would you mind coming downtown to chat where we can get you away
from this smoke?"
"No, I don't mind at all."
