Saxien; Ander and Amael

In addition, above the wastes to the right was another land. It was the 2nd biggest country in the world (it was only below the wastes,which steadily encroached on other lands). This land was named "Saxien". The kingdom was ruled by a rich and powerful king with a gorgeous and fittng queen. Together they had two sons.

The older son was named Ander. He was kind and giving. He was well admired by the people. Though,despite this, he was stupid and weak, but wasn't cowardly. The younger son was named Amael. He was cold, yet strong and intelligent, but he was scared of conflict. He never made a big impression on the public and stayed in the shadow of his older brother.

One day, the queen died of illness. The king decided he would retire and pass on his crown. Naturally, he decided to give it to Ander. Amael protested. He belived that he, the smarter and logical son should rule. The king ignored Amael's words and had Ander marry and become the king of Saxien. Right after, Amael married a woman. This woman was originally from the Wastes and fled to Saxien. She coaxed him into attemping to steal the crown away from his brother. The king, hearing about the plan decided to split the kingdom into two. He gave the larger portion, a snowy area where the main kingdom laid to Ander. The smaller,yet decent sized dark wasteland was give to Amael. They named their kingdoms after themselves.

For a while, they lived in peace. Amael and Ander each had a child. Amael had a girl with white hair and grey eyes. She was well mannered and smart. She was named Selene. Ander had a girl about the same time. She had white hair also and striking blue eyes. She was gorgeous and sweet. The two cousins often visited, and became close. As they grew, the visits became less frequent. Selene grew more powerful as Celeste grew kinder. Celeste followed closely under her parents. Selene grew to be as cold as them. One day, she murdered them in cold blood. Of course, the scandal was covered up but rumors spread. Selene ruled with an iron fist. Once she was 15, she had a misson. She would take back the rest of Saxien, she would rule over Ander too.

Selene started a war. First, she invaded the main kingdom of Ander, Ester. She and her army brutally murdered the king and queen and many of the townsfolk. She didn't kill Celeste, who when she heard, was rushing home from another town. She continued to ravage the land, taking slaves from Ander. The war raged on for 5 years. In the end, Ander shrunk by 1/4 of it's original size. Selene decided to stop and make peace with Celeste. They mended bonds over time. Selene helped strenghen Celeste's kingdom in the end and protect in from foreign attacks. Celeste began relying on Selene. They formed a partnership through this and continued to rule their seperate lands in peace.
