Of course, militant rule and harsh decisions comes with a varitety of reprocussions. Following Alenna's death, there were a variety of uprisings. They started in Euleric and spread to neighboring Amael. Both Uldric and Selene were known for being wicked and corrupt. This was not a quick event. It spread like wildfire all over the two kingdoms. It was hardto controll; they were two of the biggest kingdoms (The biggest was The Wastes which slowly grew larger every year, then Amael and then Euleric). This outbreak lead to a confrence between the two rulers.

Selene and Uldric met in Eulineas. They, facing similar issues, formed an allience. They combined their militaries to stop the people's outrages. First they started in Euleric. The death toll was 10,000 in around three months. Then, in Amael, it took four months to kill 22,000 people. Selene and Uldric remained absolute rulers and kept an iron fist.

This did not end their partnership between the two kingdoms. It helped bring them together like never before. They exchanged goods and services. They quickly began making alliences in the bedroom. This lead Selene to help take a control on Uldric's affairs. Selene often mentioned Alaire, Uldric's newborn son. She got close to them.

Uldric and Selene within fifteen years took over 4 medium sized kingdoms. Other surrounding kingdoms began building up their armies to protect against them. Though, there was more internal fighting. In Euleric, the ex-Salencia areas rebelled again. This lead to complete bloodshed. Most of the areas were wiped out and slowly began to turn into Wastes. Right after this event, Uldric proposed marriage to Selene. She replied by taking a knife to his heart and murdering him. She stole a good amount of orphaned children from the ex-Salencia colonies (that were forced to live in Eulineas) and brought them to Amael. She secretly raised them up. All of them but one were raised to be her most subserviant and loyal guard.

There was an exception to this rule. There was a child named Emiel. She got him when he was just 3. He was a cute young child, with black hair and grey eyes. She thought this boy was gorgeous and decided to make special arrangements to him. She decided that he would become her husband. She locked him away in a tower of books, making sure that only the other children she took and herself knew about him. She visited him every day and constantly lied to him. He one day found a book talking about Salencia and realized that it mentioned the city he was from. Despite Amael (and Euleric for that matter) covering up the horrors of the kingdom's past and replacing it with propaganda, Emiel did what most people in the kingdom did not do. He questioned the kingdom. He questioned Selene. One day, when he was 9 he asked Selene about the outside world and about his past. This caused Selene to get mad at him and indoctrinate him into a secret cult, special to Selene's castle. This lead to many traumas for Emiel. Selene tried to cover up more and more, finding out some family buisness. She kept him under lock and key due to this. Rarely did she let him out of the castle. There was one occasion where she did... It was to stop someone who challenged her and her rule.
