Most of the famous inhabitants of the world were kings, queens and in a few cases, nobles. There was a man who legend was as great as the prior mentioned. He was not a noble, nor king, or anything that usually demands respect. He was the son of a seamstress and blacksmith in a small village called Renic that used to be in Salencia. He was a humble and kind dollmaker named Valefar.

He had a modest begining as an only child when he lived at home and left when he was 16 to pursue a career in a bigger city. He was never known as anything special most of his life until the Salencia vs. Euleric wars kicked in. He and his family survived the battles and ther cities were changed into Euleric-ruled areas. Of course, this lead to uprisings. Valefar survived, but his old village did not. Valefar was broken and hung up his crafting to pursue what madehim famous; being a relentless rogue.

It started in Eulineaus, Eulric's main city. It started with small crimes, such as robbery and illegal dealings. Soon it escalated into noblety recieving threats, saying that they'd "pay what they did to Salencia and Queen Alenna". Finally, it reached murders. By that time, it'd been a few months and it was suggested that there was a ring of assasins, including Valefar, involved. None of this ever traced specifically back to him.

Uldric was annoyed. Although, due to his upcoming demise, he only delt with it for a few months, he attempted to put an end to it. It only got worse in the city. It kept getting worse and worse, but calmed a bit once Uldric was murdered and his son,Alaire, took his place. Alaire was known as a much better leader than Uldric. Soon after it was speculated that Valefar left. He ended up in Ander. He was known there on better terms; he was admired for destroying creatures plauged smaller villages. Eventually, this caught the attention of both Celeste and Selene. Celeste was extrodinarily imersed in his feats; Selene was jealous, becase she wanted Celeste to rely on her. Valefar caught her attention enough to allow him to spend a day with her. In that short time, it was said that they'd fallen for eachother; alas they didn't admit their feelings. It was obvious to the people who worked directly in the castle that Celeste could not stop thinking about her. Due to her lovestruck emotions, Celeste was blind to Selene's irked behaviors, which she took out on her own kingdom. Valefar took notice and soon left Ander for Amael. Celeste waited for him, unsure of his location and hopeful for his safety.

Selene heard of his voyage to her land. She was both ready for a challenge and hesistant. She knew a secret that no one else did about him. The specific secret she knew, even he didn't know about. She pondered how to take him on if that arose. She kept her land the opposite of her citizen's garb; hidden and covered. Eventually, a few days after waiting, she got a message; a request for an audience with her. Selene accepted. It was from Valefar and he was escorted to her chambers immediatly. Selene had carefully planned her tactics; such as sending him to her bed chamber instead of her royal chamber. She attempted to woo him so that she could tell Celeste how simple it was to manipulate him and discard trust. This failed, Valefar didn't try a single thing on her. Selene attempted to get him to never go back to Ander; this failed too. After a long conversation, Selene still had one question for him.

"Why are you even doing this?"

Unlike the other questions, this made him pause in silence. Selene intently watched his eyes dart around, trying to rack his brain for an answer. Moments of silents later he gave a small smile and said with a humble laugh, "I wanted to make something more of myself... be a hero that I've only read about in foreign stories... I wanted to make myself proud... my parets proud... my village proud and i'm still trying to regrow hope in the ex-Salencia areas... my people were murdered but... it wasn't by the hands of the boy king now ruling Euleric in place of the deceased Uldric."

Selene never responded to his answer. He silently went off. Selene was in awr by his answer. She thought and thought. She thought about the secret. She pondered if it was to her advantage if she told him or not, told him that she knew he had a brother who survived and was brought to Eulineaus.

Valefar wasn't heard of for a few years; all that was known was that he went around to every kingdom, doing a variety of heroic duties, making himself gain fame and envy.

Finally, he ended back in Eulineaus. He apparently set up plans with Alaire, the current king, to make the kingdom flourish like how Salencia used to be and how Ander was. This never got far. After a few months in Eulineaus, Valefar disapeared. This sparked mass chaos; a shining light of hope in many places without it, such as Amael and the areas that Uldric scarred and destroyed, that were thought to have never have recovered, vanquished in a matter of days.

There were rumours that he was eaten up in The Wastes, others say they saw him at a sea port with a crew of about 100, others thought it was a conspiracy, that it was Alaire's fault. Murmers of suggested ideas about him spread; and over time... it was quite apparent that no one would ever know. His legend was spread, through posters and his tale was passed down. People began wondering if, events that soon followed, were linked to his disapearance...
