Chapter 4

You let out a relieve sigh as 3 of you arrived back at home. On the way home, both of your parents can't stop praising Taehyung and tell you how both of you looked good together and all. You can't help but smile and blush madly, but it was become more annoying when you were not sure about how Taehyung feel about that.

⠀⠀⠀"Appa, eomma.. We don't even know how he feels towards me. Stop teasing me, okay?" you said as you make your way through the main door, both of them followed you after.

⠀⠀⠀"Yeah, but I can see it, that he's attracted to you too! I know how man act and talk around someone he like." your dad said and smirking at you.

⠀⠀⠀"And I know you like him too!!" your mom added and you were about to replies back when you notice Minjae stood there, didn't look happy of what he just heard.

⠀⠀⠀"O-oppa..." you stuttered and quickly approach him, holding his arms. "I'll cook you dinner. Let's go." You added and drag him to the kitchen.

⠀⠀⠀"He still mad about this idea?" your dad asked your mom slowly once both of you left and she can't help but nod sadly, watching you two left the scene.

Arrived at your kitchen, you pulled him to sit down while you start looking through the fridge.

⠀⠀⠀"What you wanted to eat?"

⠀⠀⠀"Is it true?" He throw another question instead of answering. You paused awhile before continue what you were doing.

⠀⠀⠀"What true?" You asked and chuckles, awkwardly.

⠀⠀⠀"Minji, do you like him?" He asked again seriously and you can't help but sighing, know that you can't avoid this question forever.

⠀⠀⠀"We just met today, okay? Well, he's nice and friendly but that doesn't mean I already fall in love with him. So, can you stop worrying and tell me what you want to eat now?" you sat down beside him, took his hand and squeeze it.

⠀⠀⠀"I-I just worried about you, okay?" He look away.

⠀⠀⠀"I know, I know. I will take care of myself and discuss everything with you before I make any decision. Is it okay now?" You asked and he turn to you, slightly smiling and nodding.

⠀⠀⠀"Good, now how about food?" You smile as you saw his usual smile draw back on his face.

It's another day at work, you just took the first sip of your cappuccino and walk to your department when your phone beep, it's a call from one of your friends, Vanessa from Publishers Department.

⠀⠀⠀"Yes? Good morning!"

⠀⠀⠀"Emergency, Minji. Get ready in 5. There's someone who will fill Managing Editor position for the next 6 months, and he's coming right now to your department, got it?" She whispered.

⠀⠀⠀"A HE?" you whispered back through the phone.

⠀⠀⠀"Yes, and I think he's coming with someone, which could be a new features editor, and it's a SHE!" she added.

⠀⠀⠀"Got it. Thank you!" you replies and hung up.

Your recent Editor is going to give birth to her first baby soon, so it's not a surprise that someone will fill her position.

Vanessa is your best friend in this company. Both of you met in your first day and naturally clicked with each other. She works longer than you and most of the time when she knew something new or important, she will definitely tell you first, just like now.

Once you put down your bag and sit on your seat, you were preparing yourself silently, because you don't know what kind of person it will be. Actually you were pretty satisfied with your recent Editor, she's very nice, patient and smart. A very independent woman, so you hope this one will be nice too, because you don't want to work with a jerk ass guy, and it goes the same for the new features editor.
