Chapter 11

Another day has started as you open your eyes staring at your bedroom ceiling, sighing. What Heeyoung has told you last night still lingering in your ears and stay in your mind until now. Somehow everything makes sense for you and you feel hurt, and betrayed. You can't sleep well last night, thanks to her and Taehyung.

Well, Taehyung has been sent you messages and calls since last night. You try your best to ignore him although it's hard when actually you wanted to talk to him and ask him for the truth, but you're not ready yet.

⠀⠀⠀"Eomma, I took a day off today and gonna bring Minjae home. The doctor said he can go home today after do the last check up." you told her as you drink your milk and grab your toast.

⠀⠀⠀"It's a relief then. Take care on your way and oh did you tell Taehyung about Minjae's condition? Seems like he didn't tell his mom yet. She called me just now asking about Minjae."

⠀⠀⠀"Ah, perhaps." you look away, don't want to tell your mom that you've been ignoring him.

Before you reach the hospital, you took your time to stop at bakery and bought Minjae's favorite bread. He must be love it, you thought. When you reach the hospital lobby, someone stop in front of you, completely blocking your way. Look up, you widened your eyes when you see, him.

⠀⠀⠀"Why did you avoid me, Minji?" Taehyung asked with his sad expression.

⠀⠀⠀"I-I need to go to Minjae." you stutter and about to take another way, but he keep blocking you and held your wrist down there.

⠀⠀⠀"What happened? Why you changed just in a night? What happened last night, huh?" He asked softly but you feel like you lost your voice, you don't know how to tell him, so you remain silent and free yourself from him before he chase you and hold your shoulder, so you can't runaway.

⠀⠀⠀"Minji, you can't act like this just after I confessed my feelings to you! You makes me anxious don't you know? If I know it will makes you stay away from me like this, I will never do it. And you said you like me too, so what's the problems?" He throwing questions and you study his worries and frustrated face.

You don't like to see what you see now, but you have to save your heart.

⠀⠀⠀"I knew it all, Taehyung." you started and he furrow his eyebrow before you continue. "Your kindness, caring, and everything. What you did to me, all of them are lies, right? Heeyoung. She's the one behind this. You did all of this just for her, because she want to revenge on me, since Minjae reject her, am I right Kim Taehyung?" you finished and he widened his eyes and it was so obvious that he was surprised.

Silent and panic kill him and with that you know what she said was right. Scoff a bit, you let out a sad smile. "I'm such an idiot right? For let you makes me fall for you easily, not even knowing you will dump me later when Heeyoung told you so."

⠀⠀⠀"I just need an answer, Taehyung. A honest answer, there's no point to lie to me anymore. I knew it all. Tell me honestly, did you do all of this because she told you so?" you asked and it takes forever before he opened his lips.

⠀⠀⠀"STOP!" a tear fall on your cheeks as you yell at him. "I don't want to see you, Kim Taehyung!" and with that you left him dumbfounded, realize about what just happened.

You run to the elevator and quickly get in, not wanting Taehyung to come to you. Glad that the elevator you took was empty, so you can cry your heart out. You never expect that the first guy that makes your heart flutter and comfortable and happy was just playing with your heart. You never expect heartbroken is this hurt, you never know, until now.
