Chapter 5 Why?

SLENDER'S POV

9:30 AM

It was early in the morning when Sally came down and asked for breakfast. I told her we are going to have some pancakes with some bacon and eggs. 'Its been awhile since we had a regular me,' I thought. 'Better wake the others.'

"Sally go wake up Emily for breakfast, ok."

"Ok papa Slender."

She got up and skipped towards the stairway. 'What a silly girl.'

After a few minutes she came back down. There were tears in her eyes. 'Oh no.'

"What's wrong Sally!"

"When I went into Emily's room the window was open and the sheets were made into a rope! Emily was gone!!!" She screamed.

This didn't make any sense to me. We welcomed her into are home, but she still didn't trust us. 'Well maybe the fact that we're killers scared her.'

I then calmed her down and told her to go get the others so we could search to find her. 'Those imbeciles will take forever, I'll just go on my own for now.'

I then started to run outside. I knew she wouldn't get to far.

I knew Jeff is now on his morning walk through the forest so he may see her. I just hope she's ok, but she may not be. There are many creatures that lurk the forest and they might have already killed her.

EMILY'S POV

I started running through the thick forest as fast as I could. My main plan was to get the hell out of this town and find place to stay. I hate my life and everything to do with it, but I had to fight on, For Zelda and my parents who are looking down on me from heaven.

"Come on Zelda you need to keep up." I told her. She started to whine but kept on running. I knew she was miserable. I hated to see her like this but I knew she would pull through.

After we would get out if this town I would find us a hotel to stay in for a little while, till we get back on are feet.

We have been running about a hour and we haven't got that far. I knew sooner or later they would figure out I was gone. But we had to leave and start over. It would either I get killed by them or I get killed by Jane. So it was a lose lose situation.

I kept running and running until I saw Jeff and Smile right in front of us! What the hell are they doing out here? 'I bet Slender sent them'. I thought. This is going to end badly!

JEFF'S POV

I was just on my normal walk through the forest like I did every morning. When all the sudden I saw Emily out here with her dog. 'Why are they out here'! A girl like her should never be out in a forest at this time of day!! Wait a minute why the hell should I care?!

Because you love Emily, Jeff

'Knock it off stupid voice'!

Sorry but I'm apart of your head so NO I won't stop!!

I decided to ignore the bastard in my head.

"Emily why are you out here"?

She just stared at me with those cold brown eyes. She looked sad as if she had lost hope. For some odd reason I hated to see her this way, it made me feel sad when she was.

Before I knew it she started to dart the other way, running as fast as she could.

"HEY COME BACK HERE"!! I then began to run after her. 'What the hell is her problem'?!
