Our morning jog was quite quiet. Niall looked distracted. We stopped in the park for our little break and sat in our usual spot at the bench. I wasn't as out of breath as I used to be, I'm getting better at jogging. Niall was starring at me, biting the inside of his mouth like he was thinking about something.

"What? Have I got something on my face?" I looked away and wiped my face. This is embarrassing!

"No, no, your face is beautiful.." He froze. I blushed, smiling. "Remember that thing I was going to ask you yesterday but Tilly's and Caity's fight interupted us?" I squinted, trying to remember.

"Sort of, why?" I asked.

"I didn't get to actually ask you, so here goes. I was wondering if..." I cut him off.

"Hold that though, someone's calling me." I put my phone to my ear and answered it. "Yo, Emily, what is it?"

"Harry just text me, wanna go to the cinema with the guys? We're going to watch New Years Eve I think." She explained.

"Sure, what time?" I asked.

"They're picking us up from your house at 10:30. Gotta go, bye." She hung up. I turned back to Niall and told him what Emily said. He seemed to be a bit happier; chatting a bit more, smiling, laughing. He has a killer smile.

The girls turned up at 10 o'clock, even though we were being picked up until half past. They turned up as a group and charged up to my room. I was still in my pyjama's, straightening my hair. The girls laughed at me and chose an outfit for me to wear out of my wardrobe. They chose my light blue Pineapple dance top, my black skinny jeans, purple high tops and my pink jacket; they know me so well when it comes to wearing bright clothes.

"Becca, your hair is straight, now get changed!" Lanea hissed, smiling, and turning my hair straighteners off at the plug. I rolled my eyes and slipped into my clothes, putting a little bit of mascara on. The doorbell rang. "That'll be the boys. I'LL GET IT MRS MANSELL!" Lanea pelted it downstairs and answered the door, she let the boys in and took them into the lounge. Once I got £20 out of my little bank thing, I went downstairs and joined the others. Niall was chatting to my mum and dad, embarrassing.

"Right, lets go." I said. Everyone got up and went outside. I checked my purse. Crap. Forgot change for the bus. "Hey, has anyone got any change I can switch for the bus?"

"I'll pay for you, don't worry." Niall said, smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back. The bus arrived not long after and we headed to the cinema. I never left Niall's side, we were always sat next to each other. I couldn't help but get butterflies in my stomach every time he look at me. He was just so dreamy!

Later that evening

Niall(6:24pm) Hey, wanna go on a quick jog?xx

Becca(6:24pm) Sure, be at mine asap:) xx

Niall(6:25pm) Okay:) xx

I shut down my laptop and changed into my jogging clothes. Niall turned up at my house at half 6. He looked so fit in his running stuff in the moonlight. His eyes looked brighter than ever. I smiled at him when I stepped out the house, closing the door behind me. We set off, debating whether Olly Murs is better than Justin Bieber, he disagrees with what I say, but I think Olly Murs is better. When we got to the park, there were a load of CHAVs there, so we found a bench along the street.

"Before anyone can interupt us, I would like to ask you something I've been dying to ask you." He said, twisting around to face me. I twisted myself around, crossing my legs on the bench.

"What?" I asked. He looked down at his lap and held my hands.

"Do you, want to go to the ball with me?" He asked, looking up and locking his eyes onto mine. I blushed, but I couldn't tear my eyes from his.

"I would love to go to the ball with you, Niall." I said. Prince Charming and Cinerella going to the ball, well, it felt like that. The second I got home, I sent a text to Caity, Emily and Lanea telling them what happened, they wanted all the details so I gave them as much as possible before I got bored of texting. Mum asked me why I was so happy, I told her. She wandered who it was so I told her it was the guy they were talking to today, the blonde one. Dad wasn't too happy, but he said he was a good lad. Tomorrow evening, I'm going to the ball with the best guy ever. A bit like a fairytale.
