My mom pulled in the student parking lot at 9:36. I grabbed my bag as I stepped out of the car.
"I love you mom. I'll see you after school." I said blowing her a kiss.
"Grow some balls and talk to that guy, Luna!" She said with a slight giggle. I walked fast without turning back. Although no one was around my cheeks were a deep shade of pink.
I walked in to the office and without hesitation, Sharon, who works at the front desk handed me a tardy pass. Without stopping I grabbed it from her hands with a smile. This was just a part of my daily routine. Nothing new. I loved coming to school during second period. I think you can guess why. Tate, of course. I had multiple classes with him but second period is my favorite. History. My least favorite subject. But I love it now because Mr. Shea lets us talk and text every Thursday and Friday.
I opened the door to the classroom and handed Mr. Shea my tardy pass. She smiles and takes it from my hand.
"Sit where you want. I'm trying some new stuff." He says. I nod with a shy smile. I turn and glance around the room.
Tate stands out. Theres not one flaw about him. His hair perfect, not a single strand out of place. His eyes gleaming like the ocean and his skin glowing like the sun. His red plaid shirt also gives him a reason to stand out. His muscles bulge where the sleeves end and you can see the outline of his toned stomach through his white v neck he wears underneath.
Dear lord he's a creation sent from above.
There's a few seats open around the room. No one summons me over to sit by them. I walk across the room to sit by Autumn Torres.
"Luna!" I hear someone call. I jerk my head around. That voice is distinctive in a crowd so deep and seductive. I turn towards the voice. Tate Halcomb. Summoning me to sit by him. He motions towards the empty seat in front of him.
