King Caught!!

**Diane's POV**

Elizabeth and I are on our way back to the Boar Hat to hang out with Captain and King. Elizabeth was saying just the other day that she was going to confess to Captain soon! I am so excited! They are so cute together!! 

As we get closer to the Boar Hat I notice that it is really packed for being closed today. Wait. It's too packed for being closed! Which means they opened the bar without Elizabeth and me! I took a sideways glance at Elizabeth and could tell she was feeling uneasy as well.

I entered first, I was honestly a little scared of how Elizabeth was going to react. The first thing I noticed was how close King was to Jericho.

  I thought she had an undying crush on Ban. WAIT! Why is King so close, why does he look like he's flirting!? 

There was King on the other side of the Boar Hat floating on Chastiefol right next to Jerichos face blushing and laughing. Although they are so far away, I can see them perfectly as if they were doing this unacceptable act in front of my face.

I notice Elizabeth has stopped dead in her tracks and I hear a very sharp gasp come from her body. The whole bar went silent in the act causing everyone to look at the two of us, including Captain and King. 

King looks dumbfound and a little embarrassed. Captain however, looked like he did nothing wrong! How dare he! He was just close enough to Guila to practically kiss her! 

Captain looks at us, "yo Elizabeth!" He's actually smiling right now!Elizabeth looks broken right now, does he not notice it?! "Hello Diane. I thought you two were going to be gone all day?" Captain looks way to happy right now. He should be concerned about my wrath!

Elizabeth's voice is barely above a whisper and she has tears in her eyes, "We got curious as to what you and King were doing but I see you have the bar open and don't need us right now." Her voice got even quieter "or need me ever." That last part broke my heart and I don't think Captain even heard her because the bar got loud again. Her voice got slightly louder again "We will be leaving now." She grabbed my arm and basically dragged me out of the Boar Hat. My rage was above the roof. 

She pulled me all the way back to the lake and started bawling. All I could do was hug her. Say something! Make her feel better! "Elizabeth..." My voice barely above a whisper, I knew exactly how she felt right now. 

She looked at me, her once sparkling blue eye has turned dull. "Please stop crying. Captain loves you, it is so obvious. Maybe you need to confess before he does anything stupid!"

"I've lost my only chance. It's too late. I should just leave. No one will know." Her voice is cracking, she's mentally drained already.

**King's POV**

WHAT HAVE I DONE! Well Diane will never like me now. I hurry over to the Captain. I was panicking. The girl of my dreams just caught me flirting with another girl!

"Captain what do we do?! They weren't supposed to see any of that! You said they'd be gone till we closed!" I was clearly worked up.

"We don't do anything." Captain stated it so earnestly. "We wait now. You wanted to get Diane jealous hoping maybe she'll love you back, now is your chance."

"What about the princess?! She was heartbroken!" I couldn't believe how calm Captain was.

"It's not like she ever loved me." His face was so grim. How can he be saying that. She is madly in love with him. 

"I'm going to go for a walk. Maybe I can fix this." I slowly start to walk out but someone grabs my arm. 

"King, if you go now... You won't be able to make anything better." It was Merlin. I know she means well but i have to try. I never meant to hurt her.

 ~~ Time Skip ~~

I've been wondering for hours and still can't find them. This is what I get for the way I treated Diane. Maybe she hates me. Maybe they ran away to never be found again. What if they're in trouble and can't defend themselves?! What if she's moved on now too!?

I was killing myself mentally with my thoughts so I decided to just go back to the Boar Hat, I really hope they're back.
