The Past Revealed

**King's POV**

Merlin, Captain and I have come up with a plan for Captain and I to win back Diane and Elizabeth.

My part is to wait for Diane and Elizabeth, so I can send Elizabeth in and then take Diane on a walk so her and I can be alone and Captain and Elizabeth can be alone. 

While I'm standing lost in thought, I suddenly see the girls walking towards me.

"Diane, will you go for a walk with me? Elizabeth, Captain is inside wanting to talk to you if you don't mind." I look from Diane to Elizabeth.

"Oh of course Sir King, bye Diane." Elizabeth says as she starts walking inside.

"I will go for a walk with you, I would like to talk to you King." Diane says looking at me. I handed her the flowers that I picked with the Captain.

As we start walking the air feels tense and I'm starting to feel nervous.

"Diane, I'm sorry for flirting with Jericho like that." I say unable to look her in the face.

"It's alright King. I want you to know I remember who you are, Harlequin and I remember the promise you made to me all those years ago." She says looking at me with a smile.

"Wait, how do you remember?" I say confused and shocked.

"When you risked your life for me with the battle against Helbram it just came flooding back," She's still looking at me but now she's blushing deeply, "and I want you to know that I love you still."

I couldn't believe my ears, after all this time her feelings haven't changed with the regain of her memories. I can't stop smiling like an idiot.

"I love you too Diane. I always have and I always will." I say with confidence.
