••• How The Hotspot Board Will Work •••

The Hotspot Board is sort of the message board for the roleplay. That's where you'll find new cases, team up with other hunters, or help people research. The Hotspot Board is split into three sections: the Case posts, the Hunter's Message Board, and the Update Board.

Here's how it will work:

CASE POSTS

The Case posts will be the description of a case, the date it was posted, and where it happened. If you are a hunter currently in that area, (it doesn't hurt to pull up a map), just put a comment below saying that you've claimed it as a Hunter. More than one person can claim a Case as a Hunter or Creature, but the normal should be 2 Hunters and 1 Creature.

Once it has at least one person as a Hunter and one as a Creature, that's when you can go there and start in on the hunt. The Hunter researches and tries to stop the Creature, the Creature kills as much as possible and tries to outsmart the Hunter. Like really vicious Chess, or Checkers. (Or Draughts or whatever you call it)

This is it's own board, and on here will show up all cases, finished and unfinished. This is the board where people claim Cases and mark their completion in the inline comments on each Case.

HUNTER'S MESSAGE BOARD

This is a free board for Hunters to message one another whatever they feel. Not for roleplaying.
If you are requesting assistance for a case or want to form a team, this is the board where you post. Also, if you need a Creature or are willing to be a Creature for any case, just drop it in the comments with the specified Case.

Do not spam the Message Board. Seriously. Unless its a chain of comments, but don't post a new comment for every reply.

UPDATE BOARD

This is where you post updates on cases. Maybe you aren't in the area or available for working a Case, but you found some helpful research or have an idea that might help out. If the place in real life has historical supernatural significance, just post it down here for people who are working it or going to be to use. Also, if a Creature is able to outsmart/get away from/defeat a Hunter on a specific Case, this is where you post details: the type of creature, if the case is unfinished, or if you want backup. This is better on the Update Board than the Message Board because it directly relates to a case.

It may all seem kind of complicated now, but once you get in the swing, it'll become second nature to pick a case, see if anyone's got Intel for it on the Update Board, and then see if there's any hunters in the area that could team up or anyone willing to be a creature on the Message Board.
