Day at the Fair and New Pet

Bianca's POV

It has been a bust week for me, but I was looking forward to my date tomorrow with Liam. Sarah gave me the day off work and Emily was going to help me get ready. Apparently I needed to look perfect for my first date with Liam. I thought back to all the cats and dogs I helped check this past week.

There was this one dog though that I loved working with. She was pure bred Siberian Husky and was only 18 months old. The manager of the pound didn't what us to desex her. As Husky breeder from Canada was coming down to see if she would be good for one of his males. Her name was Juniper and she only listened to me.

(the next day)

Emily slept over at my house last night so that she could help me get ready this morning. We woke up at eight o'clock and she made me shower. While she trashed my room looking for the perfect outfit.

I came out in my underwear with my dressing gown over it. She made me sit and started blow drying my hair while brushing it. Liam gave her specific orders to leave it natural as did I. When that was done she did light natural make-up.

Then gave me a pair of dark blue jeans, coral coloured top, black sneakers and purple jacket. I got changed in the bathroom and came out after I was done. Emily told me Liam was downstairs waiting for me with my Uncle.

When I got into the lounge I saw my uncle having a civil talk with Liam laying down a few rules. Like bring her back by 10, don't hurt her the usual stuff. Liam saw me and smiled widely.

"You look beautiful sweetheart" Uncle Dave said pulling me into a hug. I left with Liam after saying goodbye to my Uncle and Emily. We got into Liam's BMW and he drove us to the fair where the pet adoption will be taking place.

Liam helped me get out of the car when we arrived and payed for the tickets to get in. We went on the rides first and then had some lunch. As passed the pet adoption area on the why to the games section of the fair.

We went into the marque and had a look at all the pets there. I saw that Juniper had already been adopted and I was sadden by it. Because I was thinking of buying her myself if the breeder didn't want her. Liam saw the look on my face and looked like he wanted to say something.

But instead he lead me away from the marque and went to the first game. He won me a toy eevee and I carried it as we continued to walk around. Once we finished there Liam drove us to a drive-in cinema.

We were watching Eight Below on a picnic blanket and he left to get refreshments. Suddenly I felt something wet slide across my hand. I turned and saw Liam standing there with the refreshments. But I also saw Juniper wagging her tail as she looked at me.

I gave Liam quizzical look as I saw him holding her lead. "Sarah may have told me how much you bonded with a certain dog. Then I may have spoken to the pound manager asking to buy that dog" he told me.

I squealed happily asking "so she's ours to keep?"

"No, she is for you to keep and I thought Buster will need a friend as I spend most of my time with you" he stated. Liam gave me the lead and sat on my left side with our refreshments. Juniper laid down next to me on my other side as I patted her back. It was the best date ever.
