Everyone's got a dark side

Alexandra..

*Liams POV*

Today we were attending summer school since we had too many absences recently. Surprisingly a ton of people from our school were here. It feels almost the same.

I see Zayn, Niall, and Louis in front of the building almost as if waiting for us so we went up to them greeting them.

"Whats up man? I didn't know you had to come here too." I ask Zayn.

"Yeh man. But its because I failed my math class." He says shyly. He was the Bradford bad boy but he is actually a very smart guy so its surprised me to see him here. 

Apparently Niall was here for the same reason as well. Although me, Ronnie, and Harry had okay grades because we kind of did Ronnies and Harrys homework and I forced them to come when there was a huge test. They came out with horrible test grade causing them to fail and end up here.

I turned around and saw Harry holding Ronnie under the tree a couple feet away. Then, out of the corner of my eye I see Alexandra. The bossy popular girl who controls everything except Harrys heart, she was eyeing them with hatred. I knew I had to keep an eye out for her although I'd never tell Ronnie. 

Shes the type of girl that when she feels even the slight competition she drowns herself in doubts and I know she'll break up with Harry. So I wont let that happen. Ronnie is like my little sister. 

I decided to go up to Alexandra and maybe chat with her seeing what kind of info I can get out of her. 

"Hey Alex!" I say. She hates being called Alex but I'd tease her about it a lot. Reminds me of the good ol' days.

"Liam stop calling me Alex!" She says punching me in the shoulder but then cracks a smile, but then returning her glare back at the couple.

"Why are you staring at them?" I ask. 

"How did you know I was staring at them?" She asked and I said it was a lucky guess. She seemed a bit embarrassed so she told her friends to run off somewhere. I knew we were about to have a serious talk.

"Look in case you already don't know, I kind of really like Harry and seeing him with that girl just makes me cringe." She says wiping off a tear quickly. 

"Now now, don't you want to see him happy?" I ask her cupping her face so her eyes confront mine.

"Yes but I want to be the one making him happy." She says taking my hands off my previous position. 

It slightly hurt me to see her like this. I used to be best friends with her until she dated Chase and got popular, soon leaving me behind. Also, I used to have an immense crush on her and when she just left me like that it broke me and Harry was the only one to pull me back. Now shes telling me that she has feelings for him?

He rarely talked to her, and me? What have I done? I helped her so damn much through everything and gave her all the things needed to be happy. I soon grew to hate her but you can never hate someone you once loved. So right now I'm in between wanting to hug her and hold her, whispering sweet nothings to calm her down. 

Not a lot of people can tell when shes about to break down but I can. Its too easy for me. I couldn't stand it anymore so I hugged her and at first she seemed taken back but then enforced the hug wrapping her arms tighter around me and to be honest it felt so good.

Unfortunately she pulled back soon with the look of 'this will ruin my reputation' face and it seemed as if she was almost embarrassed to be seen with me. I got mad and confronted her without violence saying,

"You're embarrassed of me aren't you?", she looked as if wanting to prove me wrong but didn't say anything, "its fine, I'm used to you treating me like crap after everything I've done for you."

I then walked away from her going in the direction of Zayn and Niall.

"Hey man you okeh?" Zayn said, in response I nodded my head pulling off a fake smile and he believed me that I was fine.

*Ronnies POV*

Okay so maybe this school thing isn't so bad, I have Harry in literally every class! My day was fine until I noticed a rather attractive girl looking at me and Harry. I didn't really care because I know Harry wont go for her ever. 

"Whats wrong babe? You're smiling like a cute idiot." He said.

"Harry, you love me more than anyone right?" I ask him.

"Well..." he said unsure and I got nervous so I mocked his words pleading him to continue talking, ''I think there's another girl whom I will love equally, maybe even more than you." He said. 

I was shocked so I tried to stand but he grabbed my waist and pulled me down to his lap then whispering in my ear, "Calm down my dear, I was only talking about our future daughter Darcy Styles." He said and joy filled up in my body so I grabbed his face and planted a huge kiss on his lips, feeling a smile form up on his face. 

We soon separate from the kiss and he gave me this look I've never seen on him, like as if he genuinely loves me. I return the look until the starting bell stops our gazes.

*End of school* 

*Liams POV* 

The lover birds were going on a date today so I was walking home today... What a joy.

I actually don't know why I'm complaining since our house is only 30 minutes away. Anyway as I was walking outside the school doors, guess who I found?

"Liam, hey I need to talk to you." Alexandra said.

"Oh you sure, I don't want to ruin your repu because ya know, that's what good friends do." I say enforcing the last part.

"Best friends..." She corrected me and I felt burning in my chest.

"Anyway look, I feel really bad for what I had done to you in these past years and today when you hugged me I didn't pull back because I was embarrassed.'' She says, "Then?" I ask shortly.

"Because I was overwhelmed! It felt like it hasn't been years! And when you asked if it was because I was embarrassed I panicked so I couldn't say anything..." She asked as her breathing became for heavy. "You have to believe me." 

I stood there for a good couple seconds telling myself 'maybe'.. 

Then the unexpected came, she pulled me in and our lips met. I kissed her back and enjoyed the new sensation. I've been kissed before but never by her, although I pull back thinking back on how all she ever did was use me. Then she looked at me mentally asking why I had just done that. 

"How could I believe that kiss if all you ever did was use me." I say and she again doesn't say anything, "Oh let me guess you're too overwhelmed again? Just stop with the bullshit Alex I'm completely done with you." I say before storming off.

I didn't see her again until the next day.
