***Harry's POV***

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock.

I turn my head over to my right to see the numbers 5:45 am glowing bright in such dim lighting of my room.

School will start at eight but I always liked to get up early. I don't know why I didn't just "drop out" considering I'm already 78 in the inside. I guess because I was Liam's only friend and people teased him. I was his body guard and I was the one to beat up all the kids who made fun of him ever since kindergarten.

Yes kindergarten. I can morph to my young ages but I can't get older. Simply because we aren't allowed to see the future. You might be dead and they would want to keep it a secret. By 'they' I mean the Z-Majors. The kings of all demons, angels, and anything spiritual in general but the bad side of it. Although I didn't exactly fit in that category. I'm a fugitive; I escaped the hell hole run by my father. I had to stick with one angel for a specific amount of time so I can too, become one and Liam was the only one willing to offer help.

He helped me at the young age of four actually. Interesting story of how we met, he was always like a brother to me and even though I'm the most protective, I felt like he was too, very protective over me.

...

FLASH BACK (Harrys POV)

I have to keep running. They aren't so close but neither are they far. These hell hounds really don't want me to escape.

I have to keep running away from them. From it.

Gosh I've never made it this far from the lair.

I'm outside. I'm on the outside!

It's beautiful but whenever I step on the ground the grass is dying. Why? I'm not evil. I look like it but I'm not!

I look back and they slowed down their pace. In matter of fact they turned away. Why is that so?

I heard sobbing and when I turned to my front I trip over a fallen tree.

Never mind I hate these woods now.

I heard the crying turn into I shriek. I look up and see a little boy with curly hair very similar to mine, but they were a lighter color. He looked frightened. I'm assuming his parents lost him and it didn't make sense. Why would anyone abandon their child fairly close to the lair?

"Who are you?" The little boy asked sniffing, trying to stop crying. He seems to have calmed down somewhat, or at least I'd like to think so.

"I'm Harry and you?" I ask in a soft tone hopefully to sooth the little boy.

"L-L-Liam.." He said. Either he stutters a lot or is just scared.

"Nice name. Why are you here all alone?" I ask.

"My parents were taken away by the Z-Majors. Are you a Z-Major?" He asks timidly. Wait so he knows?

"Yes but don't be scared! I'm not evil I promise you! How do you know about the Z-Majors?" I ask.

"I'm an X-Minor. My parents taught me about your kind. But how can I trust a Z?" He said.

"I ran away. I hate being a Z. I want to be like you. An X." I say. He grinned. He knew exactly what to do.

I had to find an X or an angel. They are angels. I have to stick with him for a certain amount of time in order for me to be an X, and by certain amount of time I mean many years!

"So do you want me to be your mentor?" He asked.

"I'd love it! Where's your home?" I ask him.

"They wouldn't let me back to the castle. Once I talk to a demon or gain trust with one, Im not allowed back in Until I complete my mission, which is to turn you into an X." He said. For a four year old he did have a huge vocabulary and was very smart.
