Log 547, begin: Today I heard some humans speaking of a creature called a 'Pokemon'. I have since been trying to find such creatures, and have viewed the descriptions of them, but have been able to find none. The humans, however, seem to be able to find them using their devices that they call a phone, also known as 'cell phones' or 'mobile phones'. I have obtained one of these devices, and will use it to understand humans better. I have discovered a game, known as 'Pokemon Go', and it turns out that these 'Pokemon' are not real creatures, but only part of series of handheld device games, all under different names, such as 'Red' and 'Blue', which are played, in my understanding, on a 'Gameboy'. There are others, such as 'Pearl', 'Black', 'White 2', and 'Soulsilver'. These games are played on multiple versions of a device known as the 'DS'. There are also multiple seasons of a television show, each with a different 'region',and while some of the stay the same, there are different "Pokemon'. The main character, Ash Ketchum, remains the same throughout all of the seasons. Humans enjoy catching 'Pokemon', and I have come to find that more people are outdoors then have been in earlier reports. The humans are becoming healthier, and are socializing more often. They have spilt, however, into three teams for 'Pokemon Go', which are known as Instinct, Mystic, and Valor. This does not seem to hinder their socializing, and actually seems to increase it. In fact, they often battle each other for fun, sometimes gaining control of different buildings and places. Perhaps humans are evolving. However, as seeing that we have thought this before, and it has not happened, or even 'gone south', as the humans say, we must not get our hopes up. I expect that some humans, if we could find the right ones, would be able to accept the fact that there are multiple other planets that are inhabited. However, contact is not advised.
