Log 305, begin. Today I came across some humans setting up two small pools, ones meant for small children. They filled both pools with water, then stood around talking about a party. The party was for Halloween, also known as All Hollows Eve. They, and some friends, were going to bob for apples, among other things, and the younger siblings would get a fish if the got an apple. I stayed there, and, just before dark, some children in costumes came. The teenagers filled one pool with red Granny Smith apples, and the other with small goldfish. Out of the twelve children there, only two of them successfully got an apple, and received two fish as a reward. The other children each got one fish. After the children had gone on to 'trick-or-treat', the teenagers emptied out the pool that had held the fish and refilled it with water. Then they put apples in it, and had competitions to see who get an apple the fastest. At first, it was boy against boy and girl against girl, but it was narrowed down to the best  girl and best boy. The girl won, and shared her apple with her girlfriend.  The boy's boyfriends took the rest of the apples out of one pool and dumped the water on him.  There were children milling about the whole time,  getting candy. The children who had been bobbing for apples returned and the teenagers shared the remainder of the apples with them, and were given the candy the children didn't like or couldn't eat. The teenagers told the children mildly frighting stories to entertain them, and the children told them about the costumes they'd seen in return, and even a few of their own scary stories. They all had fun, and it seems that this Halloween is an enlightening holiday for many, as seeing that it gives them the chance to share candy and trade stories. While I do not recommend that we contact humans, perhaps someday soon we will be able to. Researcher: Kasupa Talypa. Log 305, end.
