School started back up the next day. Kamino woke up in her home. She felt weird. Not a sick "weird", but something else.

She was very satisfied because she earned their trust, but something kept gnawing at her. Why does she feel weird when her mission was a success?

She grabbed her chest where her heart was. It had an awkward pace, a bit of a rush. "What is this?" She asked herself.

She shrugged it off and got ready for school. But she couldn't get over it.

She had a skip in her step on the way to school. But what she really felt was not shown.

Everyone started talking to her when she got to class. She seemed to be acting happy, and she actually was. She didn't understand exactly why she was really happy. She just wanted to take advantage of their kindness to get to Kazama, still.

But she was starting to question herself. Her initial plan was to take advantage of them, but she was starting to question her motives.

"Kaaaamino." She woke from her daze. "Hey, Kamino!"

"Huh? Sorry, can you repeat that?"

"What's with you today?" Sakura asked.

"I'm just... Thinking of things."

"Of what?" Asked Tomoru.

"It's nothing important."

"She's questioning herself. I can tell." Kaname interrupted.

"Dang it, Kaname. Why do you have to be so dang smart?"

"I've studied psychology by myself. I'm able to read emotions."

"So you were trying to hide something from us?" Hotaru asked.

"Why? You can tell us anything," Sakura said, happily.

"I'd rather keep it to myself. I'm fine, guys." Kamino faked a smile.

"I think you need to tell us. If I can read emotions, you can't fake a smile around me."

"Gosh, dang it, Kaname!" She rose her voice. Annoyed, yet with a pang of guilt, she said, "Fine, I'll tell you all at lunch."

Kazama came into the room with Maki. Maki was smiling brightly but didn't want to let Kazama go to his room by himself; class was about to start. They kissed each other before going to their separate classes.

Kamino recalled the kiss she shared with Kazama and blushed. She looked down and hid her face. Was that really all she wished for? She started to think that it was more than enough.

Lunch came around faster than Kamino wanted it to. She didn't want to say it because it might make her sound like a traitor, which she was, in a sense.

She was pondering what she would say all through class. When she was called to read something, she would have made a fool of herself if she wasn't half paying attention.

Kamino bought lunch from school and brought it to the classroom. Everyone else brought theirs, except Sakura and Kaname, who went with her to buy it.

Kamino had a sneaking suspicion that Kaname just went to keep an eye on her and study her, again. He was kind of creepy in her mind.

"So what was this thing that you had to tell us? I heard it from Tomoru that you were acting weird at the beginning of class." Maki took a bite of her lunch. She smiled and clasped her cheeks. "So good, Kazama. I love your cooking so much."
