Two weeks after all of that stuff with Rachael happened; Bucky didn't let them see each other for over a week until he actually got to know Josh. He found out that Josh was actually a pretty good person, and Rachael needed him, because with in all the time she couldn't see him, she was hiding in her room, under her covers, crying the whole time.
Once Bucky let them see each other again, they never let each other out of their sight for more than a day at most. No one would be surprised if they got married soon, but Aunt Betty wanted them to date for the rest of the year, and then make plans.
"Violet, could you get me a drink of water?" Michelle asked, with a strange smile, as she sat down at Steve's desk so she could answer some phone calls. "I can't leave, someone could call any minute."
"Okay," Violet smiled, glad to help her sister. She ran into the kitchen and got a glass of ice water, and when she brought it back, she found Michelle talking to herself, so she hid behind the couch, and listened.
"No one cares anymore... everyone is just like, do this Michelle do that Michelle, oh can you do everything Michelle," Violet heard her sister say to herself, and Violet had never heard her sound so angry.
She carefully crawled back to the kitchen, and got up, like nothing had happened. She walked out, with the glass of ice water. "Here you go."
She handed the drink to her sister. "Thank you so much, dear sister," Michelle smiled. "I'm glad I can always count on you."
Violet smiled kindly and tried to act as if she hadn't heard anything. "Anything for my favorite sister," Violet said.
Michelle smiled, and this time, it was a real smile. "You're the best sister."
Violet gave Michelle a little hug before leaving her to her work. She tried to forget about what she had heard, and it was so surprising to hear Michelle say such things.
Violet decided to go outside and take a walk around the park across the street. So, she put her coat and boots on and quickly ran to the park. She felt like she was trying to get away from something.
As she followed a dirt path, she came to Bucky, who was sitting on a bench, enjoying the day, even though it was a pretty cold day.
"Violet," Bucky smiled. "Come join me. I was just watching a hawk's nest."
"Okay," Violet shrugged, and sat next to him.
He pointed to the big tree in front of them, and on the second branch, there was a big nest, and a hawk mother was feeding her babies. Violet thought it was pretty cool, but the thought of hearing Michelle complain about something that wasn't really there, made Violet overwhelmed, and she couldn't take it anymore.
"Bucky," She said, looking up at him.
"Hmm?" He wondered, and looked down at her.
"There's something I would like to tell you... it's about Michelle," Violet said, with hesitation.
"Is something wrong?" Bucky worried, seeing the look in her eyes that meant she was really worried about something.
"She asked me to get her a drink, because she couldn't leave the desk, because... you know, someone could call any minute," Violet said.
Bucky nodded. "Yes?"
"Well, when I walked into the living room to bring her water to her... she was talking to herself," Violet said. "I decided to hide behind the couch and listen. She said 'No one cares anymore... everyone is just like, do this Michelle do that Michelle, oh can you do everything Michelle.'"
