It was a regular day in England, rainy, dark, and dreary. Ivy was used to this weather, in fact, she quite liked it.
Ivy always found rainy days relaxing. She found it as an excuse to have a lazy day on these days, she'd often times go down to a local coffee shop and read her favorite book, "The Great Gatsby", even though she's already read it countless times before.
Ivy read because she loved how it could just take her away from her state of mind. She loves how she becomes the characters, she loves how every word stays with her and how her emotions can be influenced by something as little as words. She loves how the worn out paper feels in her hand as she turns the page, and she loves how it makes her feel like she's in her own bubble, while the world just passes her by.
Since it rained a great amount in England, the employees at the coffee shop were quite fond of Ivy, she was a regular. They greeted her with welcoming smiles and a cup of her favorite tea right when she walked through the door, to sip on while she flipped through the worn out pages of her book. Just as she began reading, the bell above the door rang, indicating someone has entered the cafe.
She looked up from her book to see who entered. She found herself staring at a tall, lanky boy with curly hair that was pushed back out of the way of his face. He had pink, full lips that looked as soft as a baby's bottom, and that jawline; that jawline was so defined, it looked like it could cut paper. From where she was sitting she couldn't make out the color of his eyes, but she had a feeling it wouldn't make a difference. Whatever color his eyes, he'd still be just as gorgeous.
Ivy couldn't help but admire him. He was like a piece of art, there was no way he could actually be real, she thought. She wanted to get to know this mystery man, as did he about her.
