Anthony's P.O.V
My eyes had been grey from birth. I was told that I had no soulmate, that they had died or they were just never born. I had never cared about it. I never looked at my eyes, I didn't need to be reminded. I probably should have looked at my eyes, as one day my mother had screamed and grabbed my face. She told me that my eyes had specks of green in them. She had described the colour as an emerald green. Over a few weeks my eyes were full of green specks, while there was still grey behind them. I didn't understand it, being at the age of only 6(66) at the time. I thought maybe that I was dead and was imagining everything, but that was stupid. On the morning of my thirteenth birthday my mother had grabbed my face again. She told my that my eyes were turning brown, behind the green. I was ecstatic, I had a soulmate and my eyes had their own colour. People had liked to say that when you touched your soulmate for the first time, the colour of their eyes in your eyes (and the colour of your eyes in theirs) would glow. Not just a mediocre glow too, one that you could see from a block away. I was extremely excited to see my soulmate. That was until the green had faded. On the day before my seventeenth birthday it had faded to a less vibrant green. People had also like to say that when the colour faded your soulmate was either dying or was in a state of depression, and boy did I hope it was the latter. I didn't want my soulmate to be depressed, but it would be better than them dying. I had found them one day, we were in an extremely crowded mall. We had bumped into each other while walking through a crowd. I had yelled at the time, feeling a sharp pain in my eyes. I had closed them for a minute or two and then heard another yell, it had sounded like a man. I had opened my eyes and looked around, seeing a bright green light on everyone around me. While the man who had yelled, had a group of people around him with a brown glow on them. His group of who I assumed were his friends, had tried to drag him away after seeing me. They knew me. Funny how my least favourite group of people would include my soulmate. They were my bullies in school. Somehow, every time I had gotten beat up by him, he never touched my skin. Almost as if he avoided having skin to skin contact with me. Like he knew. I had walked over and grabbed his shoulder. His friends had been mad at me, telling me to let go, that he didn't like me, and that we weren't soulmates. I had turned him around and slapped him. He had mumbled that he deserved it. I had smiled at him after that. He had smiled back and grabbed my hand, dragging me out of the crowd. His friends followed, trying to stop him. We had walked the whole way to his house, with his friends following us. His father saw us walking up to the door, hand in hand, and had asked where the girl he was with was. He had said that she wasn't his soulmate and that I was. His father had smiled at us and welcomed us in. His friends got let in too. We all sat on the couch and I introduced myself. They were reluctant to befriend me at first, but eventually warmed up to me.

I find it funny how a small touch in a crowd had caused me to see his eyes.

Hey there's another oneshot for you guys yay
